I am at a complete standstill on this. Digging through the Lost Temple, I've found all of the ritual bits, but I can't retrieve the Tongue of Whispers. It's in a little dead-end room with a curtain of falling water across the entrance. You have to have a veilfire torch going to get it, but you can't bring the torch into the room because the water puts it out every time.

 

All the other similar spots wound up having a trick to them, but this one ... apparently doesn't. There just isn't space on the map for hidden passages or what have you, and I haven't found any inkling of what to do to kill the waterfall. Has anyone managed this?

Actually it does have a trick. There is a lever to left of the doorway. Pull it and the flow of water stops.

I did finally spot the lever. Some of the dark areas on the map make it very difficult to find things, even using the search key.
