I say let the mages have their fun. The class is badass, and they need something to equate to the warrior's champion.
The game in general is imbalanced. Nightmare should not be easy.
Nightmare in DA series has never been really hard.

Nightmare in DA series has never been really hard.
To me, Dragon Age Origins and DA 2 are much much much harder in comparison to DA I on higher difficulties. Maybe not for others, but to me I had to actually think about what I was doing in any encounter. You'd think that would be the case here when you only have potions and no spells to heal... but it isn't.

Champions can solo things with unlimited guard generation. Assassins can chain stealth and kill pretty much anything.
TL;DR: KE isn't the only class that can solo, though I think it may be the most boring at it.

Can their skins be bought anywhere?
Snoufleurs want you to kill them and harvest their skins. That's why they don't try to run away or fight back.

I didn't. All I had to do in DAO was walk in, do Storm of the Century. Done. DAO was extremely unbalanced. Arcane warriors? Bloodmgaic+spirit healer? The list goes on.

Never liked Arcane warriors. Hated having to sheathe my weapon to use spells. Blood magic plus spirit healer was fun and what I used in DA 2 mainly, but I favored rogues in DA O, especially for nightmare. Crazy damage + block attacks.
You're obviously better than me in origins, but even average players are soloing the toughest enemies now. So my point still stands.

Yup. Storm the melee and mana clash the casters. You win.
If anything gets in your face, cone of cold them/mass paralyze them and continue casting your storms.

Where people say 'its a single player game, if you don't like it don't play it..' Well what about the people like me that do want to play a combat mage but would find it more fun if it was still a challenge to play? I'm sure I can't be the only one.
Raise the difficulty. If it's still too easy for you, well, it probably sounds cruel but I'd say "try another game." I don't really want something fun to be nerfed because .5% of players don't find Nightmare enough of a challenge.

Nerf threads belong in the multiplayer section of the board. You are doing it wrong.
Also, I love knight Enchanter, and just because you don't doesn't mean it should be nerfed just to please a vocal and annoying minority. Happy Holidays all!
