So, I imagine many of the people on these forums are familiar with the class roles on RPG games (Inquisition in this context), but I am honestly discovering that much of the player-base is not so educated.

Since you all are a versed on the subject, I wanted your opinion on how well these videos explain it.

Think of it like this: If you did not know how the role functioned, would you understand it after seeing the video?

How To Play DPS: http://youtu.be/3Q4JgpUTTmQ

How To Play Tank: http://youtu.be/wz_0G4kd42k

How To Play Control/Support: http://youtu.be/b9_-GDQuMfM

I really wanted to know if I should make further detailed videos explaining the roles becuase these don't explain enough, how clearly these make the point they should, and do I use too much RPG lingo that might confuse someone.

Let me know!

Style and production of the videos seem fine though are SP specific. I get the pause and play helps for instructional purposes but in MP combat moves a lot faster and isn't going to have a "turn based" feel. Also, while I get that you're covering traditional class roles and team composition there's a lot of variety in MP amongst the classes that require specific strategy. I.E The Templar and the Legionnaire play very differently.

It can apply to either. The point is a very basic concept of a class role. Single player just gives me the ability to give a nice visual aid.

I simply used SP as a method to illustrate the point, as it let's me engineer specific scenarios and also reset skill trees on the fly. You are correct that different classes require specific strategy, and I even talked about the Control Tank (Templar) versus the Pure Tank (Legionnaire) in the tank video. Keep in mind that it is simply a basic overview. I will be doing more multiplayer-specific strategy videos later (have to promote several class multiple times for that, which takes more time).

Again, this was meant as a "Class Roles 1.01: The Holy Trinity of Inquisition" video (that's actually not a bad name for it). Most people here are quite versed on class roles, so I wanted to know how easy it was to understand.

Thank you both for the input!

As a older gamer with a bad memory (LOL), I found the videos easy to relate to.. The commentary on the various roles was to the point and applicable to the class.
The use of the visual aid aspect (screen, gameplay) was very good, as I'm a visual learner and I was able to put the commentary into a visual scenario...
Keep it up, hope to see more videos in the future...
Peace....
