We are all a tad curious. Explain your username and how you came up with it.

I will start:

Qwib-Qwib is the name of Admiral Zaal'Koris' ship. It truly does sound like a mighty machine of streamlined death.

Also, I share his views when it comes to the geth. Qwib-Qwib was just perfect.

Let this begin.

My real name is Gabriel, but it needed something more "spice" to the username, and I was currently playing Mass Effect and was playing as a Paragon, so yeah one thing led to another.

Yandere is a character archetype that is worthy of being considered angelic.

Like you, but my name is now mixed with Kaiser (means emperor in German). Kaizoku means Pirate in Japanese.

So simply I am Pirate Emperor Arian.

My name is Liam. The normal name is taken so I just add v2 to the end. I'm not very creative. :P

I wanted to make fun of people who keep getting angry at being called White Knights, and I've always had a dislike of the term 'People of Color' since it is literally the same thing as when white people used to refer to 'other'/lesser races (namely black people) as colored people.

So I split the difference and changed my nickname to Knights of Colour (the 'u' is added because I'm Aussie).

Saw a play years ago where the protagonist was named Kevin (which is my real name) but every other character in the play kept calling him "Chevin" as a way to make fun of him. My friends found the name so funny that they started calling me that as well, though later started pronouncing it as "chewin'", which quickly turned into my nickname.

Have had it basically half my life. *starts chewing on some strawberries*

Green is my favorite color, Gorons are a race from the Zelda series, and '89 is the year I was born. It's the very first handle I came up with after being exposed to the internet in 2001.

I used to write a blog as "Jeremiah The Twelfth Level Geek." When I went to make a gamertag for XBL, they gave me so few characters to work with that the result was the garbled mess you see now.

As to why I kept it in the forums, well... I was mainly a denizen of the ME 3 MP forums, and it was easier to tell people that my PS3 and XBL gamertags were the same as my BSN ID.

I've been called a white knight a bunch of times.

The "Spectre" part of my name has nothing to do with Mass Effect, curiously. I devised it more than 10 years ago. In Russian, the word meaning "spectrum" is homophonic to "Spectre", so I came up with it because I thought of myself of a colorful and diverse personality. But I liked the "spirit" connotations, so in English, it became Spectre rather than Spectrum.

As to "Loony"... when I was registering at a blog site, "Spectre" was already taken, so I added "Loony" to it - as in Harry Potter's Luna "Loony" Lovegood. I can act strange at times and draw non-obvious connections, so this also worked well for me.

As a mighty Viking it's obvious that I would pick an old Norse name.

On the old forum (before the BSN) I used the name "fjolvar", but I like my current one better. That it is always available everywhere is always a bonus too.

Natt means night and fare/fari/fara can mean either danger or travel. In this case I think the name might have meant Night Traveler... or it can be something completely different for I know as words tends to change meaning over the time.

Oh and it is pronounced nut-far-eh for anyone who is wondering. :P

My first character in Oblivion: tried thinking of a sensible name for a Breton, time passed, I gave up and chose a silly one instead. Since then I've used it pretty much everywhere. Now people call me that IRL which is, er, something-or-other.

Edit: for the record, it's from Terry Pratchett's goddess of (usually alcohol-induced, I think) puking.
