Yeah, but sometimes what is attractive to us personally isn't what we're going for when we make a character. I like to make homely or otherwise average looking faces sometimes just for a chance of pace. Also, I find the rather more angular facial features of elves attractive, as well as the rounder and more prominent features of the dwarves. The differences between the races are subtle, but they are there. If they weren't, the OP wouldn't have had such a hard time with the CC.
I suppose that is true for some. However, this topic is titled "attempt at a pretty dwarf," so the OP is at least interested in making a hot piece of dwarven a**.
For me, my first two characters are conventionally attractive because I enjoyed the challenge.
I think it is genuinely challenging to make a an attractive female character, as this post implies, though based on my experience with the CC so far, I would say that human and dwarf are actually the easiest. Elf and qunari are much more difficult. I had no real interest in role-playing a qunari, but when I heard people saying it is impossible to create a conventionally attractive female qunari (by Western cultural standards), I decided to step up to the plate. I managed to succeed, I think.
I do have a set of "homely" characters saved on my other Xbone profile. I really enjoy messing with the CC now that I've got some experience with it. But the only requests for sliders I get are for my attractive PCs.
(Would love to create Hugh Laurie character. Wonder if that's possible.)
