That is indeed a very nice dwarf.
Okay, to be honest, I was not looking to create a "pretty" dwarf, but I do think Helga is totally badass now.

I totally agree with the (necroed) OP. I reeeeally want a great-looking DF DW Rogue, but I've wrangled with the CC (and then the BE's CC) for hours- and days- over weeks- deleted three characters by now over it... still haven't come up with a final final. This is the furthest I've gotten, but I'm miserably going to have to restart the character just because her Keep background is "wrong" again. Still, at least I got this far...
It's always a struggle with the CC due to the not-so-black black hair, the lack of really good hairstyles (and the clipping that they usually involve on especially the ears and forehead), the deceptive lighting, and the inability to move the camera vertically to see from those angles as well. I haven't made a character yet that hasn't min-maxed in a number of categories- but trying to make a dwarf girl who has the fabled dwarf appearance- larger jaw and facial features- without wreaking havoc... It continues to be a challenge... and work in progress... And I love my DAO dwarf girls! It was elf girls I had so much trouble making well in DAO. I do like that I minimized Brosca's cosmetics and was able to add a scar and rugged appearance without completely sacrificing, you know, the "pretty" thingy. I did sorta make it more challenging for myself than I had to...
OK, tried again... started over from scratch with a new character, somehow mostly pulled it off. Not sure exactly where I was tweaking wrong, but this time the exaggerated facial features all worked. Or so I think for the moment. The biggest issue was the hair choice: forces you to reduce the head and upper cheek size to near minimum in order to avoid clipping. So then the wider jaw becomes less easy to exaggerate without disproportionality issues. But I insisted, so...
And she turned out to be the most expressive of all the characters I've hammered out so far (including the ten or so I've started and scrapped), particularly her eyes. Not sure if she's "pretty" as much as cute-as-heck...
