He was afk from when I joined around Zone 2, so we couldn't start the final fight for ten minutes & I left.

Bumped into Drasca pugging last night. I was playing elementalist and he shouts out "Oh look, a Gurn. You're gonna die 'cuz you don't have firewall." Lol. 

 

I am not one of those who have it in for Drasca, but I wonder if he hears himself speak.

I think he was telling the Elementalist he was going to go down to the actual real Gurn that was in the game because elementalist didn't have firewall.  I don't *think* he was calling Ele a gurn.  I could be completely wrong on this . . . .

That was how I originally read that statement as well. Not that he was actually calling the Ele himself a Gurn.

 

But I wasn't there so I can't really speak for what Drasca meant by the comment.

Protip: Google the phrase with "dragon age" included. The Internet is full of some really weird things - many of which I have zero desire to see pop up in a Google search or, worse, a Google Image search - so I narrow down weird names/phrases with whatever game/move/TV show name I can to help the algorithm get me to the right place faster.

 

"Gurn" by itself is pretty entertainingly weird.

Probably a dumb question and showing my lack of game knowledge, but would Firewall cause a Gurn to redirect his charge? Sorta like how it's supposed to herd other enemies around a bit?

I couldn't say, I haven't touched my elementalist much lately and I have seen even less of these gurns around. I would think if it's charging at you some little flame wall isn't going to stop it.
