Ran into the Ghost of Timmy. Ran quite a few smooth perilous games before crash at wave 4 FC.
Indeed. That Crushing Leap off the drawbridge was hilarious btw ![]()

I was hoping to make the jump to the enemy over the gap. At least my failure was still entertaining.
I get the worst luck, Archers Level 19 who play like Arcane Warrior and use all their lives in Stage 4, I soloed first 3 in Perilous, Then there's always the dudes who run past treasure rooms in search of a killstreak - facepalm, wiping like Dominoes!
Just cause yer fat old slow bully of a Katari could not catch my prancing and dancing Alchemist no need to be bitter. Was surprised to see 69mobius69 in that game, 1st time I've seen him in DAMP.
Bumped into mfr001, but you ran away before I could demonstrate my 1337 fade skillz
Dropped into a lobby with Teltow... made it to extraction without Narnia/CTD/lol-servers! Twice! Blackscreened in the third, naturally.
Abject apologies.
As for fade skills, when we meet again, the race is on!
I saw Aetika and BadgerLadDK in the same run recently. Just hope I wasn't demonstrating my standard Legionnaire tactics - run up to enemy, annoy enemy, flail about until enemy dies of boredom/old age. ![]()

I realized upon seeing you here that we played together, several times even, I believe. You are the guy I dubbed in my head as myfrenchrequest. Are you from France by any chance? ![]()

Non, je suis écossais. Just don't ask me to use my school French - that was a long time ago. It is a (very) old network id, late 80's or early 90's.
Beerfish-had to redeem mah lolReaver skills and mobius69
You mean there's more than one skill!? The only skill I developed was that of dying quickly and ingloriously. On reflection, giving the Reaver a berserking weapon may not have been a wise move.
Well how was I to know, I'd only just started expanding from Legionnaire/Archer/Paladin. On the plus side, I got several opportunities to study better players' technique from the comfort of the fade.

Lies! You didn't die once in that one game we had together. I am disappoint.
Ah, but I wasn't playing Reaver. Very few people have had that pleasure (?). After a very small number of sorties I decided I had to go solo only, to avoid legal action. (I am told that there are some countries where the people are so litigious that they will sue for trifles, e. g. injuries caused by falling of their chairs laughing.)
My Reaver does, however, have a battle cry:
"Chaa ... aaa ... argh!"
Perilous Quick matching was throwing me into empty lobbies so I stepped down to Threatening which dropped into mfr001s lobby for a few easy games.
Sorry about the wipe in the second one. My Charging Bull was bugging so I couldn't save the day.

I recognised the name and thought "Oh no, sabreracer is going to see just how big a mess I can make of things.". So of course my mage ends up fighting toe to toe with the enemy.
(I keep getting in touch with my inner Templar. Usually when playing a mage.)
On the other hand, I did get to watch you put up a really impressive last stand, especially given the CB issue. I've learned a lot when watching from the fade, I just need to put it into practice.
Abject apologies.

That seems to be standard MO for most Legomen, so I wouldn't get too down on that. Although I have been playing with variations of the "flying dwarf" build someone posted a while back lately, and it's fairly hillarious, particularly with a weapon that has explode on kill.

The Revenants weekend was quite hilarious. The Legionnaire was able to build up guard at the rate the Revenant damaged it, but normal hits made minimal difference to the Revenant's health. I'm sure it took nearly double normal time to finish a game. ![]()

While it feels wrong for most to bug out and leave the others when things get messy. It can often be the only chance to save the day. If everyone is in a poor defensive area and surrounded by a crap ton of bad guys especially ranged units. You need to bug out and get to cover otherwise the revive chain is going to be a short one. With luck you can pull the enemies with you and hopefully work your way back before they all bleed out forever. Even if you don't, it won't help if you die trying to revive them.
I ran into Dekibra twice in a row. It's a small world.
talk about a small world, in one game I invite two friends who were on each others friend list. Got to chatting and found out they live in the same town, work in two different places along the same major strip! May run into each other and never know!I ran into Dekibra twice in a row. Funny that you'd say that. It turned out that Dekibra and I also live in the same city.

Absolutely! And the time lag betwen being revived and being able to act, even just swallowing a potion, makes it likely that the only outcome for the reviver's efforts is seeing a rapid demise. I would much rather sit the game out in the fade and watch than be revived and then pincushioned immediately.
Edit: after all it was my actions that got me deaded* in the first place.

Famous last words (repeated frequently):
"You dirty, rotten swine, you! You have deaded me!" (Bluebottle)
How very relevant to my play style.
Is ErySakasegawa (I hope I'm spelling that right) on here? Could of sworn I've seen him/her post on here before. Anyway landed in the same lobby and played 4 very smooth Perilous games.
Landed with my Ele in kmeeg and his friends' perilous lobby last night for several awesome games.
My Ele concentrated on surviving, casting firestorms and barriers on himself while these guys decimated anything in sight.
"I am in awe!"
Ran into Jugger Nuggs twice this am random pugging. Our 2nd match was a success the 1st one was a large fail. My apologies for trying to lone wolf, rambo the demons on the dragon castle level. The two other players immediately went down below to the stair camping spot but in my experience against demons the ice witches just shoot you continually through the floor.
