Last night was the most dead I ever encountered. Ran into the same 3-4 people in pubs all night. One of them though was Syandra. And what is that I see him using on the templar with a crooked skinny blade? Crescent's Shadow!
Wow, you can actually find 3-4 people in games? Consider yourself blessed. I was duoing and then soloing for part of the night. Having 99 friends on Origin doesn't make a damn difference at times like last night.
(Also, Syandra is a her, and she got her Crescent last Sunday she told me, which makes her the third or so PC player who has one legitimately)

Yeah last night was so dead. I'm used to seeing at least 6 or 7 people on my friends list playing until semi-late but it's just been so quiet :/ lately it seems like pugs are either braaaaand new or names I recognize from the forums/leaderboards.
You could have invited me.

As silly as my signature is today, it serves to illustrate the carelessness which took place in DAMP.
Had things been different, maybe I would still have many friends to play with. However, most started leaving in early August and were all done by the first weekend after the last patch came up, for several reasons, but among them no actions being taken agaisnt cheaters was the main one.
Now this may seem all quite alien and unreasonable to you, as you have a busy friends list of people highly active in this game, particularly at primetime hours. But it has hit me and maybe a few other players quite hard. My greatest fear about cheating was never the leaderboards nor anything of that sort, but rather making legit players lose interest and move on.

Ah come on! You know I'm just teasing you...
It is regrettable Bioware didn't deem fit to ban anyone for blatant abuses, but stopping to play, thus stopping having fun with the game, because daddy didn't slap the little brat is just a very very silly reason when it has absolutely no tangible and real impact on your game. I'd say "feeling slighted" by something that has no impact whatsoever on your game is even more immature...
If it were me, I'd ban both extremes. Those that did the blatant abuses AND those that abused their tears, that cried and called for hanging any and all offenders no matter the gravity of their offense. It's a game, people should lighten up a little...

Sorry I wasn't able to join you last night. I did really appreciate the invite. Had already gotten involved with a group, before you dropped me a PM.
Though, truth be told, you and I are so massively separated on the promotion scale, I doubt you would have much fun, playing with me.
I do get to have a nice (and safer) run, now and again, with Banxy and Ispan. Since they still seem to enjoy Perilous (at least I think they do
I've also learned a lot from Porcelyn, who regularly runs with our group(s). The others (as stated in a previous post), don't appear to frequent the forums, but they are a fun bunch!

That's 3-4 on perilous pug. No games to be found on nm unless I started them.
I don't know Syandra but that's good to hear. One of the things I like best about DAMP is the gender balance among the community, especially among players at the top.

I agree with you, for the most part. I understand you were teasing.
But, as I said, apparently you don't have issues getting teams together. Not only that, you have the privilege of playing with people from your Continent. It is easy not to care about the game's issues and shortcomings from that perspective.

Believe me, you can find more Perilous pugs in one very bad night than I have found in 11 months playing DAMP. That is the miracle of Region-Lock Matchmaking.
I agree with the second portion of your post.

The worst part is when the team said that it was a bannable offense yet did nothing about it. Incompetence.

I thought this thread was about "BSNers you run into while pugging". Not people "that don't play anymore because of X,Y or Z".
I find it amazing that sooner or later some people manage to weave the conversation around to the same ol dead who gives a rats ass discussion about some thing that really the TOS was never put into place for. The TOS is there to prevent arbitration aimed at and against the makers of the game for doing what ever they want with "the game". Hence, getting the short stick up the wazoo on my PS3.
Look I get it. I have seen people migrate from the PS3 to the PS4 that passed me up big time on the boards at a time when my shift at work allowed me to put significant playtime into the game. I couldn't compete with that. I'm talking coming up from 30 or so points behind me to 50-60 points ahead in no time. I even heard verbally that once the cap was lifted off the game for the 2X XP weekend that the exploit could still be used and was. Then this person decided to migrate to the 4. Big Whoop! Dosen't effect my game play in the least. I'm not going to use it as an excuse to quit playing either.
I'll quit playing the game when I've personnally gotten what I want out of it. Not based on what other people do or don't do.If annoyed, I can log out any time I want. Fortunately most people are decent.
Kurosawa said it best, "In a mad world only the sane are mad". To expect 100% percent integrity in a virtual fantasy world is just plain mad.
Post Script: I wish so many things were perfected in this game before its release. It's a fun Co-op game.

Tried to join a game with SpaceV3gan, but Origin said "NO".
However, I had some peachy matches with Ispan, Banxey, and latmagicman. When Banxey left, Spacemonkey joined. All the high leveled players in that group (aka...everyone else- well, except for latman...he is one of my regular low-enders, I play with, but he is a really good player, even with having lower stats.
), were very good sports! Took us through some NM FC runs, and I even managed to pull the dragon Greatsword. Now my chipper Avvar has something to play with, that is better than a rock tied to a stick. Woot!

I had lost connection, and was technically offline when you tried to join. I came back online a few minutes later and asked you to join, but I guess you already had a group by then. I hope it works next time though.

Although the conversation I took part of deviated a little from its course, my original contribution is ultimately related to the fact that I do not find any BSNers nor any living human being in Public matches (thank you Matchmaking) and also, increasingly, in Private matches except for a brief window of primetime hours, after which I often finding myself duoing and/or soloing.

ran in to coffbear7 we were running good
had a reaver tagging along that was a bit squishy he did lots of fade crawlin but we finished easy
was loading up my ele and I looked up and noticed we upped the level so I unreadied and tossed it and grabbed my sister
she is a scrapper and I figured we may need the muscle
poor reaver I really dont think he noticed the change
started the watermelon crawl in round 1 but gathered it up by round 2 when I mentioned that I noticed the level change
he did pretty well but I know he was low promote took till lvl 5 for the fade but fade he did
why do low promotes grab squishy classes? comes back for another nm as an archer and starts the watermelon crawl again
oh well I support peeps who give their all and the guy was trying
we had lots of fun and managed some good finishes
thanks coffbear7!

Lie!
I tried to join your games for 3 hours and they were full every time! Only got in the last one.
Thanks for carrying me
That was my 2nd game in NM and now I realized that none of my agents are remotely close to being productive in a NM game. Anyway, last night was my crash other BSNers game night, so I started joining other people's games. Got in coldwetnose's one and some others. It is kind of cool to not just randomly do PUG.

Lie? You might have noticed that I wasn't hosting the single game we've played together; it was a host from your region, and we were playing at primetime in your region. You left quite early, too...
Were I hosting/quickmatching, things would have been very, very different, trust me. I decided not to stay up past primetime in North America to duo or solo, in spite of how much I passionately enjoy playing this game regardless of adversities.
Besides, you didn't tell me that you had been trying to join on me before you eventually got in. Please, let me know when you are trying to join. If I had known that, I would have arranged space or something. I am always keen to play with whomever is willing to play with me; how productive one can be is incidental.
By the way, you played very well, I actually assumed you were a quite experienced NM player.

Had a number of games with Jugger Nuggs last night and then again this am. In the game last night we were both keepers and I was absolutely horrified to see that he had managed to teach his keeper to twerk....in game.
This am my Elementalist enjoyed toying with his fat, slow Reaver with the fancy schmancy hakkon great sword. He would lumberingly chase me around and I just kept immoalting him, lit him up like Christmas tree I did.
As an aside, I was once again reminded of the hilariously bad challenge point system in which you get 2 points for competing the win 250 games with...challenges (this one being the keeper, now I am working on the archery classes and ele)
