I hope not you were in that team,when I rushed ahead with my Assassin and host wanted to kick me for that.For revenge,I didn’t move a finger on wave 4 and 5 .

I met Apocalypse_owl,while was testing my new Barrier-less Ele build.It seems that two other Elementalist did the same thing

We wiped,but at least I was thought (in a hard way),that for pugging Barrier is make or break.

I was baited into trying another barrier-less build myself after that other thread. I included stone fist. I'll admit it worked better than I remember. Maybe promotions helped?

I tried to solo Perilous with different things (FS and FW on)-Fade step,Stone fist,Fade cloak,Winter grasp,but always was some little thing that screwed me,which would not,if I had Barrier.And I have very good gear and enough promotions.

 

But,for a decent team,where players know,what they are doing,Barrier-less build would be very good choice,because it is proven ,that  Barrier is not mandatory for success on Perilous.

Ran into The Allslayer while levelling up my assassin. Pretty straightforward game, apart from the time I ran in front of a teammate just as a Shadow uncloaked to wreck him (and me in the process).

I didn't realise any of that happened until after the fact. I was standing in front of the door trying to figure out why it wouldn't open. Good game though.

Bumped into SpaceV3gan very unexpectedly for a very fast and smooth silver game. The host was very laggy for me though and running with two fire-spamming elementalists and an arcane warrior is not the best setup and I left the lobby. It was akin ME3 MP with two flamers and a TGI/Harrier with grenade capacity. But I think my keeper had little problem keeping up damage-wise although she was level 17 versus levels 10-14 for AW and elementalist. On the other hand, I don't have many willpower promotions, about 10 maximum, and I was using Deathward instead of my usual Pyre of the Forgotten. As I repeat myself and a few other people, I don't think that keeper is a low dps class. Just have to spam FS/FC/CL aggressively.

You left pretty early indeed! I am from a remote region but the host was from the US, I didn't expect it would be laggy for other people.
That was one of my firsts, if not the very first time I was using Firestorm on this game. So I probably I got a little too excited and spammed it with no concerned for screen shakes and other players' wellbeing. Anyway I hope we get to play more in the future.
