These guys kept ambushing me on Nightmare difficulty, it got old real quick.
I bet it did. On casual it's not so bad once you level up a bit; more of a "can't you see I've got stuff to do?" kinda thing.

Something about collecting supplies that are for some reason scattered across miles and miles. I don't know and I don't care.
Uh... really? This could be a long list xD Well instead of making a list I'll just say that just about everything was a chore in this game for me. Some of the worst offenders being 1. Leveling up/getting power 2. Crafting armor/weapons 3. Running around Skyhold 4. Talking to Josephine >.<
That's actually pretty realistic (though no less annoying). Supply lines often get screwed up, especially in civil wars.
Alright, well, maybe it is realistic. But it's not fun.
I love loot games so it's a double edge sword but I spent more time in inventory and crafting than stabbing things.

I thought it was cool at first, but Fade Rifts almost began to remind me of Oblivion Gates by the end...
Oh dear gods I had wondered why it felt familiar!
Also remembering to turn in any research items before selling off things.
The only ones that outright feel like "chores" for me is the shards and the rifts. I have gotten rid of both problems simply by ignoring shards altogether and only doing the rifts that are either on route or very near when doing other quests.
I do wish rifts were a more random element; being able to spawn all around the game world.
Now I'm thinking about this poor squad out there basking in the sunshine, drinking beers, their little stash of elfroot all harvested, and a great bear stumbles upon them.
they drink a LOT of beer.

Keeping inventory clean. I wish I had some sort of storage chest..I hate having to remember what items I want to keep around
The mineral surveys we all seem to get from the req officer at camp. I tend to run really fast by them as soon as I get to an area. I wish there was an animation for run real fast, screaming, with your fingers in your ears.
Well yeah but at least I had "options"So essentially you had a collection of very shiny, not very used swords?
