its great that bioware is aware of the issue and working on it but can you give us an ETA?....i mean we all spent good money with the expectation of being able to play when it released...the least you all could do is let us know how much longer we have to wait to play the damn game

Riddle me this.... Whats more of an Epic fail.. The fact that you can't log into the servers to get your stuff.



Or the fact that the dummies didn't put a CANCLE button into this part of the game for I can at least not wait 15 mins for it too end. LOL.

im having the same issues but on the xbox 360 version and it just gives me a error message "communication with mass effect 2 server was interrupted or timed out please try again later."

I have plenty of patience and I know this'll get fixed sooner or later, but it's pretty lame buying not only the steam collector's edition but a gamestop copy for their preorder stuff and knowing I can't use any of the stuff I payed extra money for.

This issue is angering me more then a little.... I wait all freaking day to play ME2 despite PRE-ORDERING (and pre-loading) it on Steam (Gee thanks Steam) and then have to "decrypt" the game... And then have this retarded error pop up everytime I try and log into the game.

I have to sacrifice the DLC content to actually play the game?

Come on EA/Bioware this is BULL!!!!

(Not only that but I bought the CE! I spent a crap ton of money on this... this is ridiculous!!!!!!!!)

How can you tell if you are Cerberus Enabled:

When you start Mass Effect 2, there are two computers on the main menu. The computer on the right hand side of the screen should be open. If it is not then check to see that you've entered your Cerberus Code in the account creation screens located in game.



PC Collector's Edition Issues :

We're aware that some PC Collectors' Edition Cerberus Codes are not working. If you have the number 1688108 on the bottom right of your Cerberus Network card and have not associated it to your EA Online account at 4:00 PM PST your codes will be fully functional. If you already have associated it to your EA Online account at 6:00 PM PST you can restart the game and your Cerberus Account will be available automatically!



Zaeed :

Some of you may be looking for Zaeed as a way to check your Cerberus Account. Zaeed is being propagated to Xbox Live as we speak and will be available mid day tomorrow (MST).



Timeouts:

Some users are reporting timeouts or connection drops to Cerberus Network. We are actively pursuing a fix to this and will update everyone once it is fixed on the server-side.



General Cerberus Issues:

If you've entered your Cerberus Activation Code through the web interface and have played other EA Games with EA Online accounts but are not seeing the Cerberus Mission Computer open on the main menu. You'll need to contact EA's Customer service line to ensure that the Gamer Tag in Xbox Live is associated with your EA Online account you've used to activate Cerberus.

Sorry about that guys, when I attempted to post I was logged out and couldn't tell if the message made it through. I even refreshed a few times to see if it posted.



I also had to log in about 10 times to add the Collector's Edition items to my online account. Same for the Blood Dragon code from Dragon Age.



I hope EA fixes these issues soon.

There is a certain popular torrent site which has a crack which allows you to use them without accessing the cerberus network. I'll be using that until EA gets its act together.

I bet that they new this would happen. But they considered the cost of upgrading the servers for a 1 day event that will never repeat iteslef again. (IE not everyone will try to install the game extra content at once again, only release days) To the fact that it will eventually settle down.



Its all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ for EA. This company has never changed. Which is why its still around most likely.
