Didnt any one bother to test the load the server could handle and reroute according weeks if not months in advance to release.
This game with this much hype and advertising , alot of people will buy and install on release day... how hard is it to ... lets say... PLAN AHEAD!

Take your EA qq's over to their forums please.
They are working on a fix, and its really good to see that Bioware was alerted to the situation and is working on a fix in less than 24 hours of release. This is EA's login problem, the same thing has been happening with them since spore and probably even before that. I really wish less companies would go through EA as they tend to crap all over the game they are promoting. Either way, I'm hoping they will have it resolved by tomorrow and we can all enjoy our collector's edition lootz. Also, for the people saying EA sucks and you hate EA, you really aren't doing anything to help the situation. I can understand why you are so upset, cause I'm in the same boat as you guys, but i know that it will be fixed as soon as possible. I remember when if you used the same email you used with the spore creature creator and spore itself, it would eat your CD key but wouldn't allow you to connect. I've tried making an account through the login screen in ME2 and it got me slightly farther than the one i registered my game to. Once again, i strongly believe this is on EA's Authentication servers being no better than a peanut butter sandwich as usual. Give it some time, let's see what the developers say and maybe we can even help them resolve the issue at hand if they ask us questions about what happens when we login after the fix, etc etc.
Good luck devs, i hope you can get this sorted asap!
I agree that EA deserves more blame (if only because I hate them and love Bioware). I disagree in your assertion that 'we' should help 'them.' I'm not doing anybody's job for them, I have enough responsibilities as it is. This situation, following other releases, is utterly inexcusable.
I understand where you're coming from, what I was trying to convey is that we can do something positive instead of just telling them to go fly a kite. It's counterproductive to have people sitting here saying the exact same thing the 5 people before them said and have the next 20 people say the same thing. If people could explain the problem after the new patch if it fails, they would have a fast and easy way to gather problemshooting material and get the login server up and running faster.

Except for the fact we all PAYED for this game. Which as of right now is a sub-standard product. When something is sold it should be in WORKING condition unless otherwise specified. I'm pretty sure neither Bio nor EA told anyone, "Oh, hey guys, we're selling you this game, but we wont give you any DLC because Cerberus isn't working."
Dude seriously calm the heck down.
The game is in perfect working condition. The DLC is gonna come within the next few hours(perhaps less than that).
If it had been 24 hours I'd understand getting your panties in a bunch but right now raging on the forums isn't doing much. They've got a possible fix, let them do what must be done.
Oh I'm calm, don't misunderstand. I understand there are always kinks in new games. BUT, in saying that, this isn't just a kink, its a major breakdown. And one that has happened time and time again. The companies know this, and know like cattle, we'll just say "Well, there's nothing to be done." And continue to deal with their incompitence.

hate to say it, but you ARE going to have to force the program to close. That makes me wonder why they couldn't have included a cancel function so you could just go back to the main menu.Brendruis0r wrote...
How long does it take to time out? I want to play without the content but I don't want to force the program to close.
