This problem could have been avoided through anticipating server load according to pre-order sales and estimated store sales. They then could have rented temporary servers from a data center to handle the extreme load for the first week, then dropped the temporary servers afterward. This should be a staple with all popular online games that use DLC content.

Ah! AAAAH! EA is such a bad company and Bioware is so wrong to partner with them that it makes my face hurt. Good GOD Bioware. I love you games but seriously come on. As stated above, this is just encouraging piracy.



I am so sick of EA, always butting their ugly mugs into my favorite game companies. And if I didn't get sick to my stomach when seeing EA's logo after they branded themselves on Valve, then I certainly will now.

I hang at the please wait screen as well. Went through alot of trouble to get and redeem promo codes and cant do anything about it. Is there a fix in sight?

Well at lest BIOware people r kind enough to say something. Its really not there fault directly. But indirectly, I mean u pick ea as a publish.. hmm .. they have yet to fix the lock up issue with madden 10. And thats on a CONSOLE!. Gasp

Same problem here, and another annoying part of it is you have to ctrl-alt-dlt from the game to quit, unless you want to wait 15 minutes for it to tell you the servers are timed out.

I have the Steam Deluxe version and I can't log into cerberus. just sits at the "please wait" screen. is this a known issue? also, I activated my codes on the EA page the game took me to when I clicked on register my game. I can't actually play yet so please help.

I'm having the same issue, hangs at the please wait... screen. I've also checked everything from firewall to any network issues. Also i've installed pretty much all my DLC updates and registered everything before even entering the game.
