As an archer rogue im trying to figure out which one of these skills would be the better.

Hidden blades seems to do alot more damage and requires lesser skillpoints to get but requires you to go Assassin as specialization.

While Throwing Blades does'nt do as much damage and takes alot of skillpoints to get but can be picked no matter what specialization you have and if you would choose Tempest as specialization you can spam Throwing Blades when using Fire Flask.

So it basicly comes down to.

Assassin spec with Hidden Blades & Throwing Blades.

or

Tempest Spec with Fire Flask & Throwing Blades.

Would love to hear some opinions on this :)

Depends on what you want.
As a tempest you are going to be strapped with 4 abilities if you want thousand cuts (3 if you don't use ice flask) plus your archery skills so if you omit ice flask that leaves you one skill slot open for throwing blades. If you have high crit chance you'll be sundering armor already and the skill doesn't do that much more damage imo

As an assassin you have a ton of armor pen anyway so the skill is irrelevant and hidden blades does ridiculous damage with mark of death on.

If as a tempest you want the small AoE sunder then yeah it's a good grab but if you compare the two from a damage standpoint I'd say hidden blades all the way

Im  abit curious, how is the weapon/armor enchantment - Hidden Blades on hit- compared to the actual assassin skill?

It's really fun lol. You won't get as much damage as it's less hits but it's a nice damage boost to say basic attacks or for your other classes like Mage or warrior
