Yes, but it does not count towards the achievement. (If you are on Xbox One, you can track that yourself from the achievements app.)

The achievement tracker and the in-game trackers are two different things.

What I was saying is that Crestwood's is actually an high dragon.

Dragons' Bane glitches out because one of the 10 dragons doesn't seem to count towards the achievement, leaving you with 9/10 by the time you kill your 10th dragon. To fix this, simply reload a previous save and kill a dragon again.

The 'glitched' dragon is believed to be the Crestwood one.

As I said above, it is far worse for me. It didn't count Greater Mistral, and killing Hivernal reset my achivement counter to 1. Crestwood dragon on the other hand registered normally.

One common solution re: the High Dragon bug - I think it's related to the High Dragon in the Western Approach being part of a specific quest - is to fight a dragon, and if it doesn't count it, load a previous save and fight any dragon. It typically counts them like they should for most people.

I just got hit with the Keymaster bug glitch. And no, not the "shards are missing so I can't complete it" stuff. I got all the shards, entered every room, and then entered Solasan's main chamber and the achievement never registered. I tried reloading saves but it doesn't seem to work at all. Sucks, honestly.

EDIT: For some reason, the Xbox One version has stopped tracking my achievements altogether and several haven't activated.

The only achievement I've had bug out on me was for getting my Inquisitor up to Lvl 20. I hit Lvl 20 from a dragon fight in Emprise de Lion. But the achievement did not unlock. I killed the dragon, leveled up, but it didn't fire.

I played on for another 20 minutes, got a little tetchy, reloaded an earlier save, and went off to level up elsewhere. The second time I hit Lvl 20 there was no problem. It unlocked just fine when I leveled up by killing rank and file enemies. But for some reason that Dragon fight bugged it out.

I find that if the achievement doesn't pop when you hit the requirement your best off reloading and trying to achieve it in a very slightly different fashion.

I killed my first dragon today (yay) - the Ferelden Frostback. My quest bar says i've killed one dragon, but no achievements registered at all. I have even ground swithced on, but I'm not sure if the empress trial requires you to be level 16. I can't work that out from the dragon age wiki.

Yes you have to be Lvl 16 or higher for Trial of the Empress to count.

I'm level 21.

In fact I reloaded the save, went back and killed the thing again. I killed it so dead it died while I was chasing it up to the mountain top (I totally love Sera for giving me the bees). And I *still* didn't get any achievements. Had a long hunt for the corpse though, which was at the bottom of the mountain...

Hmm, are/were you connected to the DA servers when you killed her? The Achievements only count if you are connected to the internet.

That's the only other thing I can think of that might be responsible that you haven't got the Achievement yet.

(I fought her in my NM PT at Lvl 16 and got Trial of the Empress without problems)
