All former RNG schematics can now be purchased in the free DLC The Black Emporium, inlcuding the Dalish Warrior Armor schematic.

Hey community!

I searched everywhere for an answer to the question stated in the title. I know that this schematic exists but I don't know where; And I already did the ruin quest in the Exalted Plains as some hints to just reset your game went in that direction.

I really wanted to use that armor on my elf character since DA2. What can I do to obtain it?

Edit: Solution: In order to get the schematic you need to have the Still Ruins in the Western Approach still unexplored. Now just go through it (don't take the staff!), loot every chest except for one item and the leave the place. Re-enter the ruin and repeat until the schematic shows up.

Dalish warrior is RNG. You can only find it if you are lucky from the loot chests or doing one of the early game RNG chest farming methods.

Keeper is from the level 23 high dragon and Scout is from the hissing wastes merchant.

Check the First two pages of Weapons and Armor... There are various threads on Dalish armor.. all of which I have shared images on.

http://forum.bioware...robe-schematic/

http://forum.bioware...n-armor-exists/

http://forum.bioware...bes-screenshot/

Or..

As you can see, the armor differs with gender.

And someone else's female elf wearing keeper robes

I do not have an image of a male elf in warrior armor as the above image is also not mine. I wish I did. I would so like to use it for the schematics lists for the forums. If anyone has the armor, could you please add an image under here of solas in it on the crafting page.

It should be T3. But if it's in the Still Ruins I can farm there as well, thanks for the info!

I could really use some encouragement to keep farming Still Ruins for the warrior schematic... so many runs for naught :crying:

Also... which dragon is the level 23 one that drops the mage schematic? Is that Hivernal?

I think this post needs an update.

I tried to get the Warrior Armor with another save, wasted 6 hours and failed to get the schematic. I'm really not sure what kind of RNG mechanism leads to that. I had no problem to find every other T2 schematic after all.

I'm not sure which the lvl 23 dragon is, but I think it's the one in Emprise du Lion.

Dalish Scout Armour on the other had is found in the Hissing Wastes and is bought from the Mabari merchant in the canyon.

the lvl 23 dragon is the third and only fire type dragon in Emprise Du Lion, aslo a right git for summoning minions

But still no luck farming Still Ruins for the warrior armor schematic. I'll keep trying.

Wow, you were able to beat the Lvl. 23 Dragon at only Lvl. 20? How did you do that? I never even tried as I'm normally at the end around Lvl. 17 where I don't really have a chance.

As my game glitched and I can't get the Warrior Dalish Armor anymore I could at least get the Keeper one.

What do you mean when you say your game glitched? I wonder if I'm in the same boat - I've tried farming a couple different T2 locations and I'm not getting many schematics from them at all anymore, much less the Dalish Warrior one. :(

I managed to beat Highland Ravager by crafting gear for my party specifically designed for fire resistance and dragon-slaying. Sometimes that's the edge you need.

When I farmed for the armor with my first save I needed 5-6 runs through the ruin to get the schematic. I tried for hours the second time, got all the other schematics that are RNG'd (even rare ones like the Helm of the Inquisitor) but never found the Warrior one. I also looked for other location and nothing worked.

Maybe it is also random on which save file it can appear? I have no clue. And my Dalish rogue had to run around without that nice, shiny and matching armor...

I farmed the three chests in the Ferelden Frostback's lair for two hours tonight and got Free Army Scout and Warrior schematics (I also saw Superior Vanguard Armor, but it was the only item in the chest so I left it)
Still no Dalish Warrior. Either RNG hates me, or there's some hidden value for whether or not it's available.

It must be some kind of hidden value.

It already takes long enough to farm for schematics. Why add another factor we don't know so we waste our time?

Well on my current game, I'm going to try your suggestion and hope that it works. RNG type farming isn't my favorite activity, and this all reminds me of Dragon's Dogma/Dark Arisen. I once spent three solid weeks in the Everfall farming for all of the high level stuff and rare items that the game had consistently failed to cough up. That effort proved to be a very productive expedition, but it was mentally and spiritually challenging!

Ugh. Tell me about it. I farmed the Everfall. Then when Dark Arisen released I farmed Ur-Daimon until I had tier 3 armor for myself and my pawn WITH the best bonus enhancements. I dunno why, but farming in DAI feels way more draining, and it feels like I have way less success. At least in DD you knew the rare stuff had a 2% chance to drop. In DAI we still don't know which chests have the best chance to drop specific loot, or what the drop rate is.

And even when we know where certain loot can spawn, the RNG system still manages to not work right sometimes and not give us what we want.

Oh dear God... I finally got it. Unadin Grotto, last room, over an hour of RNG last night, and half an hour today. I also bought all those Tier 2 schematics from Val merchant and from Exalted Plains Dalish merchant, to improve the drops. And it dropped from that chest on the left, btw.

The thought of doing this EVERY playthrough, however, really scares me.

I tried farming Unadin Grotto for 50mins straight but no luck...**** never spawns :| Looks like Bioware removed it from the game lol

Using silverite, dales loden wool & snofleur skin I've enjoyed having my dalish inquisitors [of different classes] wear the keeper robes and dalish scout armors after crafting them, but thus far I've failed to rng the warrior armor.

I will never understand why that particular schematic had to end up being be the frustrating b***h from hell acquire?

Why not make it available in shops?
