honestly now that have it, it's not that special, it looks atrocious stylistically (Female Version, they should have copied Merrill's romanced outfit), and outside of the armor rating, the previous set I made called the Fade Walker armor was much more powerful stat wise.
I know it's not a jaw dropping armor, but it has a unique look.In my opinion elven armors are the best looking in this game. Every armor that doesn't look like a COAT is a winner for me.
I personally really liked the look of the Dalish Warrior one in DA2 and was glad to hear it's in Inquisition. It looked great on my female elf once, too bad I couldn't find it with another. Maybe the Emporium will help, eventually.
@DreamSever: Read something similar here on the forums regarding Warrior/Rogue/Mage schematics. You always seem to find the ones you don't need for your own class, almost like it's on purpose.
I don't think it's on purpose. This RNG system is the worst thing I've come across in an RPG. The drops have absolutely no logic at all. Totally random... The Dalish warrior armor might have a 5% chance of dropping while some crappy coat that is worthless junk has a 30% chance of dropping.
You'll also notice that sometimes it feels like it's set in stone from the start of the game. I played an elf character and by the time I reached level 11, I have found a LOT of schematics. After that I rolled a human mage, but by the time I reached level 11 again, I had like 5 armor schematics.
