Geez... in the mass of flaws, DA inquisition shows, this is your main concern?
Not the controls, the stupid combat-system, the lack choicesand so on, but not beinag able to swim?
Ok, then let me put it this way: Yes, it seems odd sometimes, but wouldn't it seem more odd, if someone, wearing a plate-armor, would not drown in deep water?

Deep water? Are you kidding? He can't even cross a stream. I find it VERY odd that no one can swim in this game. And they use that as barriers to force you into moving in certain directions. Mountains, large hills, even rocks - are used the same way. In other worlds, this is not an open-world game.
But yes, fix the PC controls, Tac Camera and add more slot bars before adding the ability to swim.

I can't swim very well personally, I would drown in the ocean if I were out there too far.

When I moved to Alaska I was surprised how many people didn't know how to swim at all. It's funny how we tend to take things that we already know as a given for everyone.
The inquisitor is a little silly though. That pond where you recruit Blackwall has sections that would be maybe 2 feet deep in real life but you "drown" in them lol. It would be better if they had invisible walls.

I was a little surprised you couldn't swim in this game. I ran straight for a lake when I first saw one under the assumption I could swim, and was promptly thrown back on land. I suppose it's merciful they don't just instantly kill you for trying to swim. Personally I don't mind, and just headcanon it. My Inquisitor lived in the Circle Tower his whole life, why would he know how to swim?

They ate a devil fruit and lost the ability to swim

You don’t drown. You just decide it’s a bad idea and come back out.

Who wouldn't want to go swimming in full armour or mage robes?

The backstroke can last for miles. I swan a mile with a flight-suit and combat boots with the backstroke (a requirement for naval aviators).

No it's not my main concern. I have others on my mind, and it isn't solely base not having the ability to swim. I just thought that it was ironic how the this person (The inquisitor) that everyone is relying on to save the world from demons can't seem to have the proper skill of swimming., but he can.... JUMP! Kinda of funny how that is.
