And are there any other weapons that have the apply poison stat aside from bows?

A few 1hs have poison. I wouldn't be surprised if a 2h did. My friends and I are running a poison Hunter build with great success on Perilous; it's probably the most effective way to steadily accrue poison kills without massively altering what you play (e.g. solo Routine).

This might not be the answer you are looking for but I have been running Perilous with that ability that poisons your weapons for 10 seconds. You can use it in stealth and it does not slow your movement, so just pop it right before you go to twin fangs someone on your assassin. Sure, it wont give you massive poison kills every round but you should get around 20 per match.
Personally, I find the Poison so weak it is best to simply accept 10-20 per match in a way that does not nerf your character(much). Try running Twin Fangs, Poison Weapons(forget exact name), Stealth. Last ability can be either Flank Attack or Shadow Strike.
This might look like your Flank Attack Build by L20. You could forgo Looks Like It Hurt and opt for Sneak Attack passive instead. Your call.

I'm working on a Hunter Build called "Steve Thornton OR 'Stick Your Thumb Up its Cloaca!'" that focuses on trap-setting and DoTs via poison. Should be up in a day or two (really, though, it focuses on Fallback Plan, Spike Trap, Throwing Blades, Toxic Cloud and the associated/synergistic passives; in other words, that entire bottom green row of Trapping). Happy hunting and remember to randomly spout Crocodile Hunter catchphrases while you play.

There is no fast way. Exterminator challenge is just a PITA.
Alchemist with Toxic Cloud and Poison weapons (and their subs) and a poisonous weapon such as Wicked Grace. Don't use Stealth while doing Exterminator challenge. It lowers your kill count to about 10 a game. I stopped using Stealth and started getting min 30 Poison kills/game (almost double doing it solo).
I used Alch with TC/PW/Flank/Stealth (only for revives and ambush). Sneak into a group, drop TC, apply PW, then Flank and basic attack. Be sure to take the poison passives (note I didn't use Stealth at all during Solo runs).

20 per match? doubtful. Maybe that happened once and that's what you remember, but the odds of your weapon damage or rune damage not getting the kill on a Twin Fangs strike is slim to none. Maybe he has the perfect weapon setup for perilous that does JUST enough weapon and rune damage to let poison weapons finish them off, that would be impressive.

It's annoying as Hell but I love the banter!

PS: Just lost a run to the "no key"-bug, did that "Patch" even fix anything?

I'm finding Knockout Bomb + Toxic Cloud to be very effective for my Alchemist. Also fun fact: both the Challenge and Explosive Toxin apply to the Potion Tears of the Dead.

It doesn't break Comatose, I don't think, but good luck figuring it out with the rest of the party laying on the hurt. Also, Toxic Cloud works in sympatico extremely well with Flask of Frost's Bitter Chill (when aggro powers actually decide to work, that is). Any idea if Alchemy Mastery also effects poison abilities or is it just Flask powers?

So, is alchemist more effective for getting this done than assassin?
Yes, mainly because the Assassin is just better at assassinating, so you are better off building her to fill another role, like completing your poison challenge ![]()

Was actually thinking about its applications in solo runs. Comboing sleep and poison could work really well.
Next time I log on I'll be testing the 15% damage bonus when flasking with poisons. Got 3 ctd's in a row so started playing stuff on ps4 instead.

I like this build, but in the future I think I will get rid of spike trap and possibly fallback plan, replace with stealth and something else.
Draws way too much aggro and he can't deal with it only using Fallback plan.
