Come on Bioware...this bug is game killing, especially with so many hours logged.  A fix for this should have been priority number one weeks ago.  It's disturbing as a consumer to have to find a list of bugs and glitches to avoid before starting a game that has been out for over a month.

I'm stuck in the zone of Crestwood.  It's a problem a lot of people have been having.  So far it seems it has something to do with Sera's quests or killing the dragon there.  Whatever it is, I can't fast travel or run out of the zone.  Can't even fast travel between camps.

It's Sera quest...

You have to restart that quest and make very sure you kill everybody in the combat... when this happened to me I think it was because one of enemy fighters got knocked off screen.  I seemed to have a red spot still on my mini map and the dialogue with the guy standing around never triggered.

I actually finished the quest and there is nothing in my journal for any of my companions.  I'm not 100% sure but I think I've done all you can do in Crestwood.  Sera's quest may trigger this glitch, but I didn't notice I couldn't Fast Travel from camp to camp or out of the zone until after I killed the dragon.

If you have the problem in Sera's quest you can get out of it without ever actually resolving the problem... the trouble is you have now basically broken the game (although it only affects the one region).

This is just an update here but on a different character, as soon as Crestwood was unlocked, I did as much of Sera's stuff as possible, including the glitched quest.  Everything was good but there were a few times where I was unable to return to Crestwood.  Going to a different zone seemed to solve that problem though.

The trouble with that solution is that there is another bug-fix that prevents you from forcing a "world-map" travel by entering one of the "world map" locations on the map because the "combat" flag is still up.  As I've had other problems with the combat flag elsewhere (with prey-creatures flagging for no reason and then remaining too far to be killed, forcing a reload before the aggroed creature triggered), this makes a pile of problems all its own:  I don't understand how there isn't something to force a "non-combat" state, or just put in the "force travel" option by running away (Sir Robin reference here).  I don't see why the force-travel option had to be removed (since it seems to have been), but putting it back in would fix this problem and prevent others.  I do not see why not allowing a forced travel from a zone should be considered a bug - even BG allowed you to run away from fights.

Second playthrough, had the glitch happen on Sera's quest but didn't think much of it because her character annoys the hell out of me.  Now I'm back to sheck on a couple of things and can't leave.  I have made two laps around the map and killed everything I can find, made sure all quests are completed, and explored everything I can get to without breaking the game.  Please fix this or give us a work-around.  I was having SO much more fun playing this the second time.

I can't travel to Crestwood without getting trapped there. I have over 200 hours on my current game, and thought I'd finished Sera's quest early on. Going back to a save before the Verachiel quest isn't going to happen.

I had already killed the dragon before I became aware of the bug- in fact, I think I killed it before starting Sera's quest- and had no trouble leaving after that. I don't remember having any problems at all with Sera's quest, though I don't remember any new dialog from her about it afterwords either, so it might not actually have completed.

I've been having this problem since January. The last patch had already come out by the time it came up.

The things I can't do: fast travel within Crestwood; fast travel out of Crestwood via the world map; leave Crestwood through either the north or south access points. There are no active companion or main-story quests in my journal that have anything to do with the region. I have tried killing things; it changes nothing. I've also tried activating the "hunt for bandits" quest- no bandits spawn.

I would very much like to complete the sidequests I left unfinished in Crestwood without losing the ability to ever leave- and in the case of the bandit quest, I would like to be able to complete it at all. Is there any news about a fix for this coming out? Or has one already come out, and I just haven't found it? One that doesn't involve discarding over a hundred hours of gameplay, I mean.

I did Sera's quest before unlocking Crestwood. It did glitch for me, but saving in that zone and then reloading caused the noble to appear eventually.

I have a problem along the same lines. Kept me from progressing the game since December. A cutscene doesn't play during that quest at the palace in Orlais.

Also still stuck. This is really unfortunate as I would very much like to finish the stupid game and am unwilling to replay the 5 hours I'd have to go back.
