How do people think the inventory should be improved? One of the problems I had was that modified items just included all stats in one big lump making it impossible to tell what was the better item... for instance it was hard to tell if armor actually had better stats or was just better because of the gloves included with it... which could simply be moved to other armor. This meant that I would have to uncouple all armor, from legs and arms, check what was best and then add the best arms for it.
With DA:O I would just go through each section of armor one by one through all the characters. If you are going to have things presented as "lump packages" at least separate the stats so they can all be seen separately i.e "super armor - 154 health bonus (72 legs and 30 arms)"
Likewise it would be good if your team was grouped by class so that all the warriors were next to each other in the inventory screen, all the rogues etc. seeing as they can use mostly the same equipment rather than going back and forth... also swords should clearly indicate if they are two hander or one hander in the description (which is frequently unclear till you see what they look like on a character).
Finally a much more radical idea but what would people think about having armor and weapons easily swapped in and out like in xcom or mass effect 3? If you have only one great shield it can be handed to Cassandra, Iron Bull or Blackwall rather than having it belong to one and then having to go to the effort of equipping it every time you want to play with another character... especially important when you cant modify attribute points but can only modify equipment, meaning that characters who you would otherwise stat to be interchangeable aren't because one has the armor.
