I agree. LOVED the Astrarium puzzles. All this complaining makes me see why games have been dumbed down over the years. People have become lazy and just want things handed to them.

 

Had no problem with the collections at all.  

 

Um, I actually think that mini-games like the Astrariums are a huge part of the "dumbing down" of video games. "Don't really care about leveling your character or choosing attribute points? Here's this dumb game that most people will hate just so you can get phat l00t!"

i only really started hunting shards after I found out that one of the loot items was the highest level vitaar for a qunari, and seeing as how loot is really lackluster for qunari, I really wanted it. 

 

And then it was...not to my tastes aesthetically. so probably won't be doing those again.

Is it that level 30 vitaar? I got that elsewhere, can't remember where though.

two of my friends played on nightmare. they did collect the shards but they crafted everything themselves anyway.

I found all the shards, just to see what was in that damn room. But all I got out of it was some resistances (that I can also get from crafting gear) and some 'ok' loot I just ended up selling. The reward is not worth the effort, considering how many fuckin shards I had to find I was expecting some legandary shite but no I was left thinking "that's it?"

The Astriums were fun, and I was actually able to complete all of them with ease, and the loot WAS worth it, for me at least.

Mosaic pieces, I still haven't found all of them, probably wont. I don't go out of my way to find em, I find one then cool, not no problem. Tho I did notice the mosaic pieces on the walls in Skyhold so that kinda makes me want to find em all.

After my first PT I just I dont bother with the shards at all anymore, I may still do a few astriums just for the hell of it, and one day, on one PT I will get all mosaic pieces lol.
