it has taken me over 4 years to finally decide to play through this game. If it werent for DAI i wouldnt.

I preordered this back when, so i have the deluxe edition. i tried several times to play it but on 3 separate occasions stopped at the 4 hour mark because i was displeased.

now at 46hrs in....

1) WHEN WILL IT ALL END??!!!   never have i played a game that i wish would just end!

2) Ninjamances messed up my game play!  Everyone comes on to your character and then BAM!  Anders moves in without me saying move in???  DAMMNIT!!

3) Quests make me feel like im bouncing around with no focus! go here. kill this guy. go there. kill that guy.

4) I feel nothing for the characters....especially after the ninjamance!

5)same maps over and over and over

of all the BW games i own....this one displeases me the most. all these hours have only confirmed my displeasure.  I will continue to call this game "an isolated incident" though.

A little late to the hate train but whatever, the game is certainly not the best, there are some redeeming features in some of the character subplots being a little interesting and the way the game ties in to Inquisition, but that's about it. Bioware were rushed to make this game however, so continue treating it as an isolated incident.

1) There are three acts, the first act is the longest. Since you're 46 hours in, I'd say you're almost done.

2) Correct me if I'm wrong... But Anders definitely has a discussion with you asking to move in. You can refuse him, and its pretty obvious what begins romances: Don't click on the heart options?

3) Ok, maybe you're still in act 1. Or maybe you're not, and just not paying attention to dialogue before quests...

4) Really? The DA2 characters are bound to evoke something: You must have views on Mages vs Templars, the game never stops bringing that up. What about the Qun?

5) Ikr

Hahaha.

I feel mostly the same way about DA2 the first time... well, except for the ninjamancing; I never had a problem with that.

I think once you finish the game, then you're be able to see the story structure, and on second playthough it is more digestible.

I admit, I'm not a native English speaker, but I thought that the plural of "beef" was "beeves"?

Really you're not a native English speaker?

I never would've guessed from your posts (which are always awesome BTW albeit long as f*** most of the time.)

Beef isn't really a count noun, outside of slang for "problem" or "problems" (which is the way OP is using it).

Also, as I recall, Anders basically asks you, "Does that make you feel uncomfortable?" and you have the option to be like, "No, but you needn't bother," or "Yes, actually."  They lay it on so thick that I have to assume that OP hasn't actually played the game and is trolling.

Trolling???

you are given 3 choices.  The best choice at the time was "there will always be a place here for you" or something like that (the answer that sounded like....we are adults and boinked but we are just friends [with benefits] and mi casa es su casa).  Any sane person would think the option EXPLICITLY  saying move in was the only choice to have him move in...NOT that option and the MIDDLE seemingly AMBIGUOUS reply that locks you into a relationship that you dont find out exists until a few hours later.

move in?

1) no

2)maybe.....which means yes

3)hell yeah!

troll?....gtfo!

Ah, I apologize.  I thought you were talking about the very start of the romance being sneaky.  Yeah, the paraphrases are often dumb.  I never romanced Anders, so I never experienced that one.

Not native, no. But I've been using it for a very long time, especially for writing.

I thought I'd seen it before, but I think it was about the animals. So is "beeves" archaic or deprecated or something? If that's the case, English has disappointed me once again. "Beeves" sounds like such a cool word. Beeeeeeeeves.

While I do not view it the same way most of your complaints are perfectly valid but:

2) Ninjamances messed up my game play!  Everyone comes on to your character and then BAM!  Anders moves in without me saying move in???  DAMMNIT!!

Really? I'm not sure if you are trolling or for real. There is no such things as ninjamances in DA2. The only ones that come on to your character are Anders and Isabela (and she is more or less just flrting with you as she flirst with everyone) and you still have to explicitly click the option, that is convieniently marked with a huge-a*s heart icon, multiple times to seriously start any romance.

The only way it could be more obvious that you are starting a romance is if there was a huge neonsign popping up on your screen with the message "Attention you are initiating a romance."

The only way I can think of to acidentially trigger a romance is if you blindly skip all the dialogue and randomly click a option without looking at it first.
