I was able to get the ring from the Templars, however, when I try to go back, the quest marker has me at a completely different location (near the edge of a hill). I try to go to the correct location, and she is no where to be seen. I have seen a similar question like this, and I tried saving and resetting the game, however, the problem still exists. Has anyone been able to figure out how to solve this?
