This question is directed at Americans of course but anyone feel free to chime in.

Anyway, let's say your situation here starts to deteriorate for whatever reason. Maybe jobs are really scarce, you don't approve of the direction the country is going, you're just tired of it here, etc. the reason is not really important. But whatever it is, it's enough that you don't wanna live here anymore. Would you move to another country? Where would you go? Why would you move there?

America is becoming/is garbage.  It's our own fault, but still.

That said YES if i had to, I would.  I guess I would prefer to live in the UK.  I LOVE accents...and every woman I meet having one? oh my god.....(although gun laws are very important to me)

I like being American and have no desire to leave and don't see it ever happening.

Jeff Daniels says it very well.

When I was a child, we lived in Belgium for a while. Later, I lived in Montreal. These days, the only reason I could imagine moving would be for family reasons. That includes emigrating. That or if we got more cats...

Country doesn't matter, they all suck. At least this one's better than Britain.

Despite any short-comings, there is no place on earth I would rather live.

I've been to some countries (UK, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, and Canada) and I would have to say no.

I grew up in the US and it will always be my home.

In a heartbeat if it got to the point of being unbearable. I have three legitimate passports and a dual citizenship and I wouldn't be afraid to use it.

It's not inconceivable, but a country I would move to doesn't exist.

Ideally I'd move to Cuba, sans communism.

Keep your houses for me. I want to become a landlord in America.

Idk where i would go. Europe is in worse shape, Australia has too many bugs. Canada sounds the obvious choice but just seems boring to me. The UK is becoming Britanstan.

I'd probably go to a developing nation like Vietnam and get rich as they grow or Japan and aid their birth rate problems with my master Scandinavian genetics.

I'm realistic. I'd need to head to an English speaking country. England it is.

Yes, If things come to worse, I'd more thank likely move to canada. Because I own a house in calgary. But unless something bad happens I'm not going anywhere.

Well like a few have already said. The USA isn't the latest and greatest anymore, but it's still got it's yank charm to keep me for a while longer. For better or for worse. I suppose if I had to I'd just head up north to Canada. It helps that I have good friends up there. Or possibly somewhere in the UK.

"Europe"? Which part of Europe are you talking about?
I was asked by an American once if Paris was the capital of Europe. Please don't be one of those people. :|

That being said, I'd love to visit the US someday, but since I have never been I'm afraid I can't answer your question! I'm pretty happy with the place I live in, though, although I could definitely picture myself moving to a different country at some point. :3

I'm actually planning to leave the second I can afford it, so yes. Probably go to France, Italy, or Canada.

Anywhere but the USA.

Can I borrow it since you're not using it? :P
