Ok, so I am curious would this work.

I want a kinda dps sword shield build. All strength, in battlemaster tree and reaver.

Is this better actually then a 2h warrior.I am aware I lose the aoe but the attacks are faster, with much faster cool down times on the sword and shield skills.

Opinions on this? I don't like tanking but love heavy armor classes with melee fighting.

DPS is for normal attacks. Most of your damage will come from skills. Skills are usually a percentage of your actual weapon damage. 2H weapon's DPS may not be impressive but it has raw power. Meaning, Skills will be much more powerful when using a 2H weapon.
