Overdrawn discussion. Romance is a nice, but unnecessary bonus in games and definitely NOT what makes a game good or bad. Instead of creating softporno-graphics I would rather like to have a few more weapons in the game. Or one more funny talk between joker and edi, etc etc. I dont care for gay options either... but... some folks at bioware put it on their agenda, so I can respect that. I really dont understand why this very little part of the game gets SUCH a big attention in discussions.

BioWare already is "ok" with deviations, so this solution would find it's own target audience... too bad it's too unimportant, because making an interesting ME game is more important, than a harem simulator....

 

I myself am against the persecution of sexual minorities, as long as they are not promoted as something "being normal".

Blowing up the relays neutered the whole galaxy. You hear right - no sex at ALL in the next ME. It's still undecided whether we can have platonic love relations. It's a ploy to increase the odds of people purchasing the DLC where the player discovers that Asari still can have sex but they don't tell because they want to control all the galaxy. It will be called "Bring back the Love".

maybe they're scared to talk about it. I just saw a video on youtube where a guy was asking why Mac is still Lead writer after he basically spit the customers in their faces with the ME3 ending, besides putting a ton of really bad quality dialogue into the intro of ME3.

I agree on the omni condom part, you should be able to buy some on the Citadel, and if you don't equip the omni condom when you get sex with your companion bam she get pregnant and you can't use her for the late part of the game, would be funny. And if you re playing a female well you re pregnant it's game over you can't save the galaxy anymore now take care of your kid ^^

 

Joke aside Fallout 2 did it (the condom stuff and pregnant stuff) ^^

I agree about Bioware being geared towards homosexuals and feminist gamers more than any other type of gamers. This definitely shows in Inquisition with its limited and ugly romance options for heterosexual gamers. Off subject, I wished I could have romanced Dr. Chakwas in Mass Effect.

On the topic of DAI romances, in ME we always have asari to satisfy any homosexual quota. As for the outcry about looks (although I find Cassandra attractive as is) this is another reason why we should have playable aliens/more alien romances.

 

It's beyond us to gauge the relative beauty of other species. All turians are hot.

the only mildly interesting romance I can remember was in Dragon Age 2 with that sexy Pirate girl.
