Authoritative proof that sara is a human and not an elf. The ears must be fake or something

I think the key words are "human-trained" here, but hah, that's still amusing anyway.

 

That does remind me of the one time that I excitedly crafted a suit of Legion of the Dead armor and belatedly remembered the dwarf-only restriction...which, honestly, I should have totally paid attention to. Alas, I was completely fixated on the stats which seemed to totally cancel out my higher thought processes. One day, I'll have to convince Varric to try it on just to see how it looks.

She doesn't identify with being an elf, she hates her identity as an elf. It's about her thoughts process. It's an item wears by an elf, and if she wears it, what does that make her?

Fun fact: She can wear human only armors, so it's not a bug, it's about her character.

Majority, if not all, of the Elven armors in the game are the Dalish ones.

 

That means chainmail, augmented with leather and in case of Keeper robes, some plate on the shoulders. Also, cloth.

 

Every Dalish feature included, going barefoot also in the package.

 

So, yeah, she wouldn't wear those. However, she was raised by humans from very young age - the Red Jenny in Denerim taught her a lot. That was a Human.
