(i'm not angry about her not being able to wear it, lmao, it makes sense, but just offering that as a alternative perspective)

Well, there's Solas, maybe he's willing to wear female Dalish armor if you ask him nicely.

I still think of that skimpy Dalish sports bra from DA:O whenever I hear 'Dalish armor' so this...put an interesting image in my head. ![]()

Oh god why snook!
She's pretty damn tall for an elf too -- Towering over my Dalish-Lass like a poplart tree over a house plant.

What, you don't think he has the midriff/hips for it? I reckon he does. :S

We should have been able to get a pair and give them to Leli, good memories and all that.
Is it possible that Sera might be a half-elf? D&D half-elves from Neverwinter Nights looked a lot like Sera. I too was wondering if this was a bug or if this was an intentional trait of Sera's.
it fits, and she doesn't pick what she wears, the herald does, have you even played the game?

If you're a half-elf, you're fully human, it's canon. Alistair is a half-elf and he's completely human. It's just one of Sera's quirks since as an elf, she can wear human only's items but she can't wear elf only items.

No. There are no half-elves in DA lore. All elven traits are supressed by human ones in case of interbreeding.
I think the key words are "human-trained" here, but hah, that's still amusing anyway.
That does remind me of the one time that I excitedly crafted a suit of Legion of the Dead armor and belatedly remembered the dwarf-only restriction...which, honestly, I should have totally paid attention to. Alas, I was completely fixated on the stats which seemed to totally cancel out my higher thought processes. One day, I'll have to convince Varric to try it on just to see how it looks.
Because they fit her? training doesn't matter to wear clothes. how much did you have to train to wear those shoes?
Say you are a US Marine. Would you wear?
Or would you wear?

Technically you could wear either, but I know for a fact no marine would willingly ever don the first.
But even though Solas doesn't really seem to be fond of Dalish, either, he will wear the Dalish mage gear.

Except Solas doesn't really hate Dalish. He pities them. While he doesn't see himself as a Dalish elf, he still sees himself as an elf. Sera doesn't see herself as an elf. Supporting elves give Solas' approval, supporting elves gives Sera's disapproval. You can use Solas to convince other elves to help the inquisition, but you can't use Sera.
and someone cried to the moderators, how pathetic
Her body model is actually the human female one rather than the elf female one, from what I can tell, so it makes sense.
Yeah, modder confirmed it too.
So the game maybe automaticly check what the characters have as body type so it can auto adjust the clothes.
That's just an idea...
Maybe she half human and just inherited the ears? I do want to know what made her hate elves so much. At least Fenris thought about elves a little
the sort story of it is, that she hates how they are all whiny people who say "Pity me pity me" or the Dalish, who are "Stuck in the past" thats pretty much the gist of it.
Basicly she is a 'person' first and formost. Not an Elf, not a Human. And hates being called or indified as a 'race'

There is no such thing as half-elf. If you're a half-elf, you're full human, there is no hybrid. Alistair is a half-elf and he's full human. She dislikes elves because she has low self-esteem. Her family was human and taught her to hate being elf for most of her childhood.
She wishes.
Seriously she seems to wish that.
(I want a scene of her and Cole and she's drunk somehow with him talking about not wanting to be a demon and her talking about not wanting to be an elf)

I also got the impression that she's an elf/human hybrid. She's actually taller than Trevellyan as well, if you've noticed.
And no, she isn't an elf... she's a goddess. ![]()
Maker.
As a few people have already mentioned, an established fact of the lore is that if Elf and a Human have a child, that child will look and essentially be Human. This is called being Elf-blooded.
Alistair, Michel du Chevin, and Feynriel are all examples.
There is no "hybrid".
