"Defeat all hostile enemy forces". How is this possible if every enemy onscreen of on the mini map is already defeated? We shouldn't have to run around like chickens with our heads cut off looking an enemy that doesn't exist so we can open the door to the next zone. Fix this Bioware asap.
You do not have the key to open this door

Bioware is on holiday. This is the downside of games being released this time of year.

Bioware can't patch a serious issue like this, but they managed to crank out this Destruction DLC which doesn't really add anything noticable, and seems to make the multiplayer even more buggier than before.

You could have read through the threads on the first page of this subforum and found a couple of posts about this. Bioware knows about it. It will be fixed. For the time being, just bring someone with a nice AoE nuke, as most times it is because the enemy spawned off-map where you can't reach. Start nuking nearby walls and pillars and you may get lucky (I have a couple of times)
Aside, there is also no need to make your font huge and bold. The effect of bolding and varying text size on key words/phrases for emphasis is lost when the entire post is bold and in large text. It is often seen as just as bad as typing in all caps. Message Board 1.01.

Occasionally you'll get extra lucky and have an enemy dead and frozen in place. Attack the enemy with a knockdown attack and it should get rid of them and drop the key. If the massive AoE and targeted attacking yield no results, have the Leader (host) disconnect then rejoin the game. I'm on the 360 and it's actually pretty easy to jump back into the game immediately after you leave if you go to the previous players and hit "Join Game in Progress" to hop back in.

Its almost like there is more than 1 team working within bioware isnt it?

The solution is simple, set aside the non-sense and remove keys alltogether. They serves no purpose, only for you to sit, play dead or shake hand whenever Bioware wants you to. Add the enemies you left behind to the spawns on the next area if you want, I don't care.
The only thing it would make possible is to get to Area 5 faster. But what's the point if you don't kill anything before that? You won't be farming XP or Gold, so what are you doing exactly? It would solve all problems regarding to keys and not give anything real to anyone speedrunning to area 5. Why isn't it already done?!?!

very funny pic
There´s still new people joining the MP and seeing how broken it is.
And I´ll jump on the bandwagon.
Bioware, please fix your game.
Thank you, a customer who actually has a lot of fun in between gamebreaking bugs.

Honestly, this. The enemies would catch up with you if you ran past them, and if you actually got caught - which you would - you'd get mobbed and die or still have to kill them.

Are you bloody kidding me? I can already see the Arcane Warriors with NO MIC running in, using Fade Step and opening the door. Then warping you to the next area without giving you a choice in the matter.
All this does is give opportunities to TROLLS.

Because the Assassin and Hunter can't do the same with cloaking...
Bad players will do whatever they can to be even worst than they are. You have the in-game kick option for that.
The solution I provided works. The problem you reported is something else. With or without keys, those players won't change the way they play. I hope you're not thinking we can't do this because 1% of the player base is too stupid to play like a team. Otherwise Bioware might as well just close shop because there's isn't a lack of stupid people playing, there won't be anything new to add to the game at this pace...

The key not dropping pretty much qualifies as game-breaking imo. It has kept me from loggin into the multiplayer for a couple days now.

You are being way too generous. It's more like 30%. In any given PUG match, there is at least one person that either does not understand their role and/or is just being a troll. It is rare to get an entire random PUG team together that actually gets down to business.

I've had pretty damn good luck with PUG's myself.
Generally the only things that stop us from completing a mission now is the key failing to make an appearance or the Demon Commander wiping the team.
Although I did play with the *squishiest* lvl 20 Necro I'd ever seen tonight... Dude had no idea what they was doing! ![]()

Occasionally, you can find an "animal" level enemy chilling somewhere on the map not attacking anyone to kill for the key. Otherwise you have to leave or as we tried earlier, boot the host to restart the level, you don't get the chests in the rooms or pots to respawn but you should already have the gold so that's not an issue.

To amend my post with further data: happened in 4 out my last 5 games. Lobby, not just host, was bugged. Getting gold, but can't for the life me get the chance to level a character...
Really, Seth? Really, Amy? Really, DAMP? Really?
I'm giving up on PUGing MP until this is fixed, so looks like more SP for me. Some one please post a thread when this is patched...

- Mobs are "feared/panicked" and they run through walls and pillars, never to come back and thus you can't kill 100%. (Tested this theory, and 100% of my games that I used wall of flame or someone else panicked mobs especially animal based ones, the game broke, and the games that mobs weren't panicked we were able to finish.)
- Mobs decide they want to go after a team member in a diff room and clip the walls and pillars never to come out on the other side.
- I've been in a situation where we clear an area and then in the next room, mini lizards come running from the last room from somewhere.
*** ultimately there seems to be an NPC wall clipping and or spawning issue going on from my observation.
