I can't install Mass Effect 2 as my computer won't recognize the second disc when I place it in the drive. The first disc works completely fine... any solutions to this problem?

Try this thread: http://social.biowar...766531/1#767671

It seems others with DVD/CD install errors have found a workaround by following the steps there.

My problem seems to be that disc 2 (I've exchanged copies to be sure) won't read. It could be my DVD drive, but it would be rather odd if the second disc for Mass Effect 2 was the only disc it could not read...

In addition to the already-named link, social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/106/index/766531/1#767671 ,

Some people with more than one PC available have surmounted the problems by swapping DVD drives around.  Others have borrowed external DVD drives, and some have been able to copy the DVD contents to folders on their hard drives to install from.  Personally, I had to run the install across my LAN from another PC onto the target PC, but you can do that without an actual LAN in place, just a single Cat-5 cable between the ethernet ports on each of two machines.
