Champion is pretty boss

Good video, as someone who believes any Champion build with Sword and Shield is just overkill, except "maybe" for soloing the whole game (or dragons which summon Dragonlings) in NM.

 

A champion(who is always surrounded)should use 2H since AoE damage is a good synergy .

 

Still my Templar felt better then this when soloing Vinsomer, with almost constant dmg boost 50(blessed blades, Horn of Valor) and dispel againts pesky ring of shock spell. Though i think this due to how 2h tree is overwhelming compared to SwS tree. Srly even a 2H build had to spend 5-6 points in SwS.

Nope, sorry my pc not that spectacular so i don't take records most of the time. Yes though it was NM

 

Why did you find it unbelieveble though? Shield wall and Dispel pretty much nullifes any attack Vinsomer can do and pay-back strike saved me few times when i got slopy(aka tried to drink coffee) which was practicaly stamina free since it always missed the dragon. Had tier 4 serpents fang axe(from hissing wastes) with hidden blade on hit (5x) enchanment also there was "3 guard on hit" on my shield. My char was level 17 by the time.

 

Shield wall is much more better than combat roll because it utterly dispels the short breath attacks(ball of lightning, ball of fire, ball of ice), so i never lost time with evading her attacks.

S&S templar surely can solo Vinsomer. But if anyone could solo her with 2h templar it will be very very impressive.

Who says don't believe? When I asked for the vid, I just wanted to see the fight 'cause I still didn't encounter him (I'm on my 1st walkthrough)...

I just finished a playthrough with a S&S Champion and I soloed every dragon except the Fereldan Frostback and the Crestwood one (I didn't have To the Death yet) . I honestly found it easier to do solo rather in a group it takes so much less effort if you don't have to micromanage your party's positioning every 5 seconds
