Better question, why does Solas resemble Nicolas Cage? They both look like Nicolas Cage and they both love museums.

I will NEVER look at Solas the same way again!

ROFLMFAO

Now I want to turn on friendly fire and hit him with a Jar of Bees grenade.

Actually Vivienne's character holds several references to several disney evil witches;

-Maleficient in her looks.

-The name of her personal quest. Duh

-And also when examining a dead soldier body on the Exalted Plains she will say "Poor, Unfortunate Soul" which is the name of the song Ursula sings in the Little Mermaid

There may be more allusions, or maybe not and it is just a coincidence :3

PS: Vivienne is voiced by the fabulous Indira Varma.

So Vivienne could in fact be a subtle Parody of every female Disney villain to have existed? I did forget about the Snow White reference, although I never took her to the exalted plains.

It's even on her DA wiki page.

"Her 'fashion touchstone' is Maleficient."

Isn't that that douche from Sherlock? That's even worse.

Think voice of Smaug in the Hobbit, or Kahn in the new Start Trek movie.

Ah right, I remember seeing him dressed up and acting like smaug for the special effects to be put in later. Don't like Sherlock, but yea, he is impressive.
