Actually, no.
Considering ME has you fighting in space in lethal atmospheric conditions, I would sure hope they cover themselves up.
If the series continued in the somewhat realistic fashion of Mass Effect 1, I would agree with you, but since the series went all space fantasy with the last 2 installments I could care less about realism. Samara, Miranda or Jacob could give a ....about lethal atmospheric conditions.

You got me there. Still, Shepard always had a more practical, realistic look compared to their companions even in ME2 and ME3.
I would not be opposed to playing a male human in a skin-tight suit though. ![]()
You can have your babes too. ![]()

ME1 is full of space magic.
They did go horribly wrong with the facemasks though, but calling ME1 even somewhat realistic is just a joke.
The Cypher alone puts the game way high in Science Fantasy.
He was talking about the realism of fashion.
He's correct that ME2 and ME3 had companions in skin-tight suits with literally no actual bulk armor protection and only a simple breather to protect their face. It also occured in ME1 but was mostly limited to Asari.
It's possible that you can justify it given that the ones that do are all biotics and therefore canonically use biotic shields to protect themselves.
Viking cleavage/boobies would have been more appropriate, since they could withstand even the toughest blows.
Viking Woman: I can kill you with my breasts alone.
Enemy: prove it
Viking Woman: if you insist
Enemy: aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh "silent"

Wow, first killing thighs...now killing breasts. Please sir, may we have some more. ![]()
I know this thread is really old but why is it people always say 'we don't want to see chainmail bikini's' when someone asks about "sexier" armor?
Or 'we like it better because its depicts what they would of worn'
Why does 'sexier' armor have to mean some of us want bikini's?I myself wouldn't mind having the option of actually showing a bit of bare skin eg. A bit of leg or something. It seems every piece of armor covers every inch of skin (even as a mage)as a gamer i would like the option to play and look how i want.
What affect would my inquistors bare legs have on the rest of you?none at all is the answer.
We have straight/gay relationship options but can't show a bit of skin
I'll be sure to aim for your sexy bare legs if I see you on the battlefield.

Remember poison for maximum efficency.
Argh! I don't think I'll ever stop being annoyed at the ridiculous design decisions they made in that game. Flippin' leather catsuits and mouth breathers in the vaccum of space...we'll always have ME2
I suppose qunari could wear so called "sexy" armor without breaking the lore (and common sense). According to the codex vitaar hardens qunari skin to something like steel but with the flexibility of flesh. It's the in universe reason for why they run around in light clothing and armor.

Oooh, I've been resurrected. ![]()
No, I didn't care if there was cleavage or not.
Because I don't give two f**** about stuff like that when I play a video game.
...I still think that's one of the weirdest bits of lore Bioware has come up with in Dragon Age. Or maybe just the mostly transparently designed to justify Qunari barely clothed in battle.I suppose qunari could wear so called "sexy" armor without breaking the lore (and common sense). Geez, guys. Can't we just have one innocent thread about BOOBS?
Well, glad you made it here CrimsonN7:) The Spoils Of The Avver have better booby armour...erm, armour as we in UK spell it ![]()
