You're cherry picking and creating a straw man argument. There is nothing else to it.

Get back to me when you actually address what was said.

Ironically, cheery picking applies more to your own doing -- that is, selecting only bits of the overall issue which happen to match, ignoring the parts which don't and declaring it's a full match as a result.

Also, it's not straw man argument when I'm addressing exactly what you have said. I mean, the stuff I said you did say? It's right there, in the quote, verbatim.

Since I can't address 'what you actually said' any more than I already did, I guess this is it.

I don't like how they presented the women.

Either you get a manly looking woman with a jawline that would make men feel dainty (what was the purpose of that?), she looked normal in DA2. I also have no problem with short hair, where do you come up with these 'arguments'. There are plenty of really fine women with short hair. Have you seen the voice actor for Cassandra, a gorgeous woman. Why not model Cassandra after a normal looking woman. Why the acute angular face with a constant frown.

I thought romances was suppose to entice a person to become interested. To have some beauty and YES I would expect the same for female and gay romances.

Bioware has had really good looking love interests for male in all other games. This is why it is jarring, it's like it's some kind of message.

It's a rpg, doesn't matter what you like, it is what you imagine your character likes that matters. Even if I don't like fierce looking women with a stick up their butt so far they can't stand still when they are talking, maybe my character does...

If my character happens to prefer sexy, flirty women, then unfortunately for him, there weren't any around in Haven or Skyhold. I guess he will just go up to his chamber, ****** one out, go to sleep and continue with saving the world tomorrow...

Doing the same thing that they have been doing before is just as much a conscious decision as doing it differently...there is a just as much of a message and decision behind status quo as there is behind progression...

they messed up beards as well, the large style actually hovers slightly off the face. It was mildly irritating enough for me I deleted a character and restarted.,

Still using the strawman fallacy. I was the one first posting my argument. YOU created a strawman and attacked that instead of addressing what I really said.

Trust me you will NEVER get one over me in this. This thread will go to 1,000 pages.

I thought my elfs boobs were a little bit too low. Shes really young and shouldn't have drooped yet.

Oh and I am female and I like a little bit a sexiness in my armours,  however I draw the line at fighting in underwear, its just not ladylike.

Oh I remember the good ol days of playing oblivion and going shopping at the Goddess shop and getting the most amazing shoes and dresses and running around Tamriel with my sparkly sword totally kicking butt left right and centre! That was so much fun!

Who said girly girls cant look pretty when killing?

I'm honestly curious. Where is this 'usual' other than in JRPGs (and modded Skyrim)? People keep talking about 'chainmail bikinis' but in my 30 years of gaming I can't think of any in any games I've played.

I remember Morrigan's lady parts looked great in DA:O, but in this game they look like they've been ran over by a dragon.

Remember...its been 10 years since DAO and she had a child...both things that would affect a bosom

Most games don't go as far as a bikini, but most have armor for females characters that shows far far more skin than the male versions, even though it's supposed to be there for protection.

I remember in DA:O, my Dalish warrior was walking around for the first part of the game with her midriff showing. A lot of the armor was very low cut, and some of the mage robes have boob windows.

I'd have more trouble coming up with games that DON'T do this, than ones that do. DA:I doesn't, and I think Skyrim didn't.

I guess it technically a shell bikini but, you know.

They're also frequently featured in Everquest which used to be the MMO before WoW happened (and WoW has its own share of these designs). For more recent examples, Divinity: Original Sin experienced strong backlash when it tried to go that route.

Orlesian Warden?

So that's where he's been the entire time!

I could see the Orlesian Warden being retconned as someone in a Guy Goma-esque mixup where they wanted to hire the Hero of Ferelden as Warden-Commander, only to instead send the job application to a Warden-themed stripper from the Pearl, also called "The Commander" by the patrons...

:P

This is the new gaming world post Anita Sarkeesian.  It's misogynistic apparently for developers to do anything sexy with the females. Male fantasy is bad M'kay, it breeds boys into misogynists and potentially rapists. Damsels in distress is bad too.  Women and men do not exist, we are all the same and only genitals exist.

That's promotional material, I doubt the characters in game look anything like that. Its like browser games show pictures of scantily clad women in advertising for click bait, even though the game itself looks like Civ..

I played Everquest but it was so long ago I can't remember how the armour looked. heh

Has Desire Demon not made an appearance? What is the procedure to get a refund in Origin?

Also when I strip down I'm wearing clothes.
