I'm doing Solas personal Quest . The one where you go and save his 'friend' in the exalted Plain...
I already done it once before without any trouble . But now ? I just can't .
The bug is that once the cutscene end and I start attacking those Pillar holding his 'friend'....I destroy 2 and when I get to the 3rd...the game just close down without any warning . This happen 3 times now , I start and happen again .
Any idea what maybe causing this ??
I had a similar issue with some boss where the game crashed every time I kill him, but restarting the PC solved the problem.
If restarting the PC doesn't work, then try loading another save or try returning to skyhold (or other region) and then return to the exalted plains.
Other things you could try is disabling origin overlay and playing in offline mode.

But I actually found a solution that doesn't require restarting the computer or anything .
all I did was use Tactic mod , and it stopped crashing .

I was going to suggest you to try not using the tactical mode, but it seems it was just the opposite
