I'm not fond of the idea, personally.
The Wardens are my favorite faction in the series, but I kind of like them better with that element of tragedy and self-sacrifice that comes attached with the Joining. Also I'm never in favor of giving characters' an easy out just because they are fan favorites or a player character.
That's also why I was against Thane being cured when the Thanemancers were campaigning for it in the run up to ME3.

Spoiler
Fiona doesn't know what cured her. If you side with the Mages and speak to her at Skyhold, she'll tell you this.

You think after a 1000 years someone would know how to reverse the calling if needed but why bother? Are they suddenly not going to be needed. They have set their lives to help and protect against Darkspawn so when they get that urge why not go out in a blaze of glory and taking as many out as possible. Only the power hungry and selfish would look for a cure to it.
... like my Mage Warden. Doesn't fit my other Wardens.

Well, if this is just a DLC/future story hook they could end up doing the ol 'the cure is worse than the disease' dilemma to the whole Calling cure thing. Make it so there's some heavy price to pay in order to cure it. Not sure what, but...

Agreed, If there is a cure to be found it better have a very heavy price attached to it.

I'd rather you find a cure. I like the idea of reconstructing the setting from Grimdark to into a better one. Really, was the tone of Inquisition as dark as Dragon Age 2 or Origins? People want to make the world 'better,' let them.

I'm fine with a cure, personally. A happy ending for the Warden would get no real complaints from me.
I do realize it'd feel a bit cheap for it to go off without a hitch, though. Should be some drawback.

I'd imagine the drawback would be you don't get the benefits of the Taint. No listening in on Darkspaw, no Power of Blood, no ability to kill an Archdemon.

It might be cool if you can cure the Calling, but not the taint or ghoulification. The wardens could become immortal via the taint. Talk about drama, lol

More importantly she cannot become a warden again. According to this conversation she and the warden "tried everything" and it didn't work. So did she drank darkspawn blood and it didn't affect her?
This kind has to do with the Architect and that mysterious amulet.

Yet Red Lyrium effected her...
I think the connection between becoming a grey warden and getting affected by red Lyrium is not strong enough. One can affect with the other not affecting.

What i hope is that it is more behind it then just finding a "cure", that it is a mystery and it involves stopping the blights once and for all.I'm fine with a cure, personally. A happy ending for the Warden would get no real complaints from me.

I have always felt that in romance with leliana or morrigan, that it sounds the warden is selfish. When talking to leliana, nowhere in the conversation does it say that it for every grey warden. A scenario like this is what im hoping for:
Warden says in conversation: " finding the cure for the calling was partially true, but the whole truth is a bit more complicated. If i told leliana the whole story....i dont know how she would have reacted. I didnt want to give her the ultimatum between divine justinia and me. It was safest for her that way.
