As with all of you playing MP on the PC, I have run into my share of bugs since the game launched and even more so since the latest DLC.  But I was never really sure about how often I ran into problems, so I decided to keep track.  I was primarily playing an Alchemist on the first day. Here are the results.

*** In the interest of not taking up tons of space with match data, I will just put in the results here.

Putting numbers up top and day to day data at the bottom:

Bug                Matches          Percent

No Key             54/346             15%

CTD                 18/346              5%

Game Freeze   12/346              3%

Cant Move         8/346              2%

Other               14/346              4%

In total:

- Day 1 MP bugged out 15/48 matches, or 31% of the time.

- Day 2 MP bugged out 7/28 matches, or 25% of the time.

- Day 3 MP bugged out 4/17 matches, or 24% of the time.

- Day 4 MP bugged out 12/30 matches, or 40% of the time.

- Day 5 MP bugged out 5/18 matches, or 285 of the time.

- Day 6 MP bugged out 4/16 matches, or 25% of the time.

- Day 7 MP bugged out 3/3 matches, or ONE HUNDRED PERCENT.

- Day 7 MP continuation (because I am a glutton for punishment), bugged out 6/11 matches!

- Day 8 MP bugged 1/8 matches, or 13% of the time.

- Day 9 MP bugged 2/9 matches, or 22% of the time.

- Day 10 MP bugged 2/10 matches, or 20% of the time.

- Day 11 MP bugged 8/30 matches, or 27% of the time.

- Day 12 MP bugged 6/17 matches, or 35% of the time.

- Day 13 MP bugged 6/21 matches, or 29% of the time.

- Day 14 MP bugged 4/12 matches, or 33% of the time.

- Day 15 - 18 MP bugged 5/18 matches, or 28% of the time.

- Day 19 MP bugged out 1/9 times, 11% of the time.

- Day 20 MP bugged out 3/14 times, or 21% of the time.

- Day 21 MP bugged out 3/13 times, or 23% of the time.

- Day 22 - 23 MP bugged out 3/14 times, or 21% of the time.

Day 3 notable bugs

2 Game freezes, 1 no key, and a bugged out RT final boss out of 17 matches

Day 4 notable bugs

1 game freeze, 4 no keys, 3 cant move when joining match in progress, 1 stuck on Downloading Data after match, and a few other bugs like F1 - F4 not working and Rampage not working against demons.

Day 5 notable bugs

2 no keys, 2 random match drops, and Rampage again broken.

Day 6 notable bugs

3 no keys and regularly horrendous lag in public matches.

Day 7 notable bugs

My first three matches all ended with no keys... a complete waste of my time.  Continuation, out of 11 more matches I had 2 no keys, 3 freezes, and one match in the destroyed chattaue where all of the mobs were out of the visibility.  We could see the red dots but couldnt see any mobs.  More wasted time.  9-(

Day 8 notable bugs

Only 1 no key in the 8 matches I had time to play, and that was when I was on my Elementalist.  I don't use Firestorm until zone 5, but the game still bugged out on me at the end of zone 4, and as I was hosting I ended up losing all of the exp.  9-(

Day 9 notable bugs

2 more no keys out of limited matches.  This is pretty sad that such an obvious fault is still not fixed.  It's like the entire company release the POS DLC and went on vacation.  Well, they will come back to a lot less players unfortunately.

Day 10 notable bugs

One blank screen on joining a match and 1 no key.  Not many matches played.

Day 11 notable bugs

A long day of play led to 5 no keys and 3 random CTDs.

Day 12 notable bugs

3 no keys, 2 CTDs, 1 blank loading screen, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Day 13 notable bugs

4 no keys, 1 CTD, and one no graphics glitch that affected my whole team, except me, so we were unable to continue.

Day 14 notable bugs

2 no keys and 2 CTDs.

Day 15 - 18 notable bugs

LEss time and desire to play.  7 matches in 2 days without problems, then on my first match of day 17 I ended up with no key AND THEN the game crashed (to further punch me in the jewels).  Day 18 saw me spending 1 hour to get two complete matches in with a game freeze to start the night followed by two more no keys.

Day 19 notable bugs

Only one game freeze, but some horrible lag thrown in for good measure.

Day 20 notable bugs

1 no key likely caused by an elementalist overuse of Firestorm, 1 CTD, and then 1 instance of not being able to move when I joined a match in progress.

Day 21 notable bugs

2 no keys and a cant move.

Day 22 - 23 notable bugs

2 no keys and a cant move.

If I was not lazy I would do the same but from memory what you posted sounds like my sessions.

Sounds about right.

Thank you for taking the time to keep track of your games.

If I count right, that's about 19  fails out of 40 games. That's a pretty lucky ratio - mine when I kept track was around 8%, but recently has gone up to around 25-30%.

Interesting though, it'd be awesome if you could post a summary of how many of each type of bug you've had / how many games, what percentage of your games you had to deal with that specific bug, and what percentage overall of your games were bugged / successful.

Well done. It is nice to have this data. I will contribute my own the next time I play (tonight was SP).

I thought I was the only one that kept track of the game crash stats. Should I make a new tracking project for players?

While its holiday and stuff, I am starting to think we should start petition to shareholders instead. I mean, players keep track of bugs, players uncover flaws in game mechanics and balances, players suggest content and RNG is RNG, This needs management.

I've tried about 20 matches so far, 4 got no key, 4 CTDs (in 2 of them I saw only bland terrain), 3 lost connection to sessions, and 3 infinite loading, clearly working as intended.

Apparently my game had deleted the MP DLC for some reason. Curiously I didn't experience many bugs at all, [95%+ success rate easily.] Found out yesterday it had uninstalled somehow and re-installed it, now I'm getting so many bugs again. For PC it genuinely seems better to uninstall the DLC, I actually managed to level characters with it uninstalled.

Thanks again for keeping track of your game stats.

I know you're already doing alot more than anyone should expect from you but if possible, could you track which classes are in your games aswell?

Regardless, keep up the good work, champ!

1) Match didn't load, force-quit game after several minutes at black loading screen with little Inquisition logo

2) Match didn't load, force-quit game after several minutes at black loading screen with Inquisition logo

3) Tried hosting instead. Completed normally with wiping at the Demon Commander.

I normally can connect through quick match, just not the other night.

Added day 5 - 7.  Played mainly a Reaver to get the Great Axe kills, flipped a Keeper, and tried some Threatening and Perilous with my Elementalist.

The game is getting worse and worse by the day.  The competent players are leaving because of the continuous bugs, leaving those left to pug with no-comm players that rush in and die over and over.

So with ratio around 1/4 for the game not working as advertised sounds like case for my lawyer. Oh wait, there is EULA .. back to drawing board.

I was under the impression that the EULA is not really worth the paper it is printed on.

It's like me making you sign away your first born child in order to post a reply. It isn't legally binding or enforceable in any way, it's just "my rules" and not the law of the land.

But then again, I'm not a lawyer.

On a related note, take a look at what Ubisoft is trying to do to Assasins Creed: Unity players if they accept a free game as way of an apology for how terrible the game is.

I'd rather you just bloody told me outright because I really can't be bothered to look it up.

Depends, on country and individual rulings. However it seems the system is not in favor of lets say rigor yet. At the end, unless for class action (if its even possible), who is going to bother? I also prefer just apology and digital compensation, but I do not accept .. this is the way it is .. because it concernes relatively a lot of people, their free time, their money, and their lets say psychical well being ;) It is not fine to sell broken stuff.

True.

It is a shame that the gaming community simply accepts poor quality games and just vent their anger at each other on forums like these. If they were to actually work and co-ordinate with each other over matters like these, then game developers and publishers would get their teeth kicked in and their **** slapped in no small order.

These forums have some very smart individuals amidsts the usual forum turds, and this is a very small community. Imagine if all the effort that is put into trolling was focused on expressing our consumer dissatisfaction?

But as it is, gamers are seen to be very much the stereotypical geeks with glasses, no backbone, push overs and loners.

Then the forum would be so negative that the small community would shrink even further ;) As someone noted, there is 20k posts here. This is not BF4.

I was bored and so decided to play a few more matches, of which nearly 50% of the matches were bugged.

Well done OP much obliged.

Makes me curious what a data spreadsheet like this would look like concerning the elementalist, and the key bug percentages compared to games without it.

I did note on my tracking sheets how often an elementalist was in my group when when no key was dropped, and i have found that firestorm can bug out stealthers, but it wasnt the sole cause of not getting a key.

Thank you for the kind words. 9-)
