Is anyone else having the problem with getting assigned repeating requisitions?  I'll get the same task several times in a row sometimes and can't find where other people are having the same problems in the forums.  I know I'm probably overlooking it.

Same problem, most likely a bug.

I'm to the point where I will save before I check with the requisition officer to get assigned another task and if it's the same one I just did I will go back to that save and just forget it.  I know I'm not getting all the requisition tasks by doing this but I don't know what else to do, I hate repeating tasks.  And I can't see where anyone has brought this to BW's attention.

I don't think it's a bug. It's just a mechanism by which you can spam some power for yourself, if you've done a lot of foraging and have excess resources.

They have a small number of different requisitions for each area, and when you complete one, the next one is determined randomly - thus it may often be the same requisition as the one prior to it. Each time you complete one, you get another one - they never run out. I think this is just such an unimportant part of the game that nobody gave it that much thought.

There's really no reason to do the requisitions unless you enjoy doing them.

And they do repeat. This is guaranteed, as you'll eventually have done all of them.

I don't think it's a bug and sometimes turning in requisitions will raise influence in addition to giving you points. I'm happy to turn in 5 or 6 of those things, one right after another, in one camp visit. Course that means I'm having to chase "Miss Shy Requisition Officer" around camp to get each new requisition but I do it. Chasing her is one of my most frustrating quests.

This is good to know, I just thought that there were only so many tasks and once you finished them they quit assigning them to you so I would keep asking.  Getting the same ones over and over would mean I would have to go back out into that area that I've already explored just to get ingredients and that's irritating.  They really should have thought this through better.

Yea, there is really no reason to do requisitions more than once unless you somehow find yourself strapped for power (I don't even know how that would be possible). I would definitly recomend not doing the ones which requier logging stands and quarries more than once until after you have done all your Skyhold upgrades.

That sounds reasonable, but how do you not accept a requisition after they give it to you?  I'm a completionist and I can't stand having lingering missions on my journal.  That goes back to just saving before you ask the requisition officer for another task.  Which goes back to the original thought of why have repeating requisitions to begin with?

To manipulate 'completionists' like you into spending ~200hrs doing the same stuff over & over again; which creates the illusion of lengthy game-content.

Unless you just want the 'achievements', don't waste your time with Requisitions.

I noticed outside of the first couple of areas the requisition person didn't give me anything new after the first one. So I stopped talking to them and tried hard to ignore the question mark on my maps >< It is a sloppy system though, I wish you could look at a list of requisitions and decide which ones you wanted to do.

Really?  The Requisition Officer is on my 'Most Annoying NPC' lists - always interrupting dialogue with other characters, and following me around trying to give me a new requisition seconds after handing it in.  I think from now on I'll take the first requisition and never hand it in, because I'm just sick of, "Inquisitor!"

I don't think there's a point to doing requisitions the first time around. Power is so absurdly abundant that even doing 70% of the quests will leave you (i) over levelled and (ii) swimming in power.

See, the thing is, if you don't take the new requisition from the requisitions officer, there will be an exclamation mark sitting over each camp she is associated with. I'm really bad about ignoring exclamation marks.  :P

I suggest taking the first one she gives, then not turning that requisition in until you have completed the majority of the game, or until you have done everything in that area and won't be going back.  Also avoids the Requisition Officer force-talking to you each time you go to the camp.

When entering an area I usually get the first one, then hand it in when the map is pretty much done so I don't get 'word for you' every time. They seem to be for power points only, although the first few made me wonder if they were actually important, weapons, tents etc but they don't seem to have any impact on anything. Having one filled as you play will give you peace.  ^_^

They're random and repeatable, so you can grind for power if you need it (which you won't, as others have noted).

I typically only complete a single requisition per visit to an area (I pick it up on entry and fill it just before leaving). I don't think I have the fortitude to just bypass them entirely, even if they truly don't matter.

I ended up beating the game with 240 power left over.

The only one I believe I've done that is not a requirement is the one in the Emerald Graves about the bear attacking the camp.

tho i wouldn't have minded the req officer getting mauled by the bear...
