Before I acquired Skyhold, I was able to respec anywhere and anywhen without problems. However, after acquiring Skyhold, my game crashes immediately after I respec. 

More Info:

I attempted to respec in Fallow Mire.

No damage happens when I first put on the respec amulet. My skills are gone and the skill points are properly refunded to me.

While I am buying the abilities, there is also no issue.

However, once I exit out of the character record screen to go back to the world, the game immediately crashes. It has happened 2 times so far. The 1st was on accident (and luckily the game autosaved a few seconds before I decided to respec) and the 2nd was to doublecheck if the problem was respeccing.

 

 

I remember some other people had problems with respeccing so I was wondering if anyone else here encountered this issue and if they did, were they able to find a way behind it.

 

Also, those 2 times were the only times my game has crashed so it's not my laptop.

It happened to me once. I'd respec, take a few steps and then the screen froze. Restarted twice and it happened again both times. After respecing I tried fast-traveling to a different part of the map and strangely enough it worked. Hope this helps.

Had the same issue, it happens when you put all the points at the same time, try putting only one each time.
