I am not planning to leave him or anything. He just too sweet and I don't have the heart to do a hit and run and break his heart; but I lost that option once we had sex. Also for some reason, after reaching skyhold, I no longer get the option to flirt with iron bull. He won't say anything to be until I get the first major upgrade for skyhold after doing the main quest. Is that a bug. I can sometime flirt with Sera but no one else.

Hmmm maybe I am misremembering then. I was happily monogamous with him :-) heard IB can be bugged with next to no dialogue options but I think killing a dragon with him opens him up again

So for a male quizzy, is there a recommended order of operation? I really want to romance dorian but I think I'm far along with cass. Can I dump her after, ride the bull, and finish strong with dorian?

Yea not being able to break-up with Cullen after sex is a definite for sure thing. Personally I was happy about it because I didn't have to worry about accidently breaking up with him anymore

 

But yea, if you want to get with the most people possible Cullen would have to be last, and I'm pretty sure you have to completly break things off with everyone else before you even get that option.

On a more serious note: I have never tried to see how many notches I could put in my lipstick case. I'm assumng you could hit most of them though, given you do them in the right order. Least offended > most offended

I was thinking about this a bit in terms of a female character (because it's basically a puzzle and I'm incapable of not trying to figure out puzzles). I think the way to get the most would be Iron Bull, Sera, Josie, Blackwall/Cullen. I'm not sure if doing Blackwall would work though because from what I have heard he is even more slow moving than Cullen. Someone should try it an let us know

What about as a male? I was thinking bull cass and dorian but not sure if you can break up with cass after sex? Anyone know?

Yea, I'm not sure about that either. My guess would be no? If that's accurate I'd say Bull, Dorian, Josie, Cass would likely be the optimal order. Though I feel like I am forgetting someone... seems weird females would have more options and I didn't even include Solas in the female count because I think with timing of stuff he'd have to take the place of someone else.

 

Of course I couldn't imagine breaking up with Dorian either... that seems like it would be as awful as breaking up with Cullen.

You can definitely break up with Cass after sex, and she's remarkably low key about the whole thing. She just says something like, "I always knew you would break my heart...but it's not the morning yet, so let's keep pretending, for just a little longer."

Of course, what monster would leave Cass, I don't know...

Huh, that's interesting. In that case I'd recomend going with Dorian last just so you don't need to break-up with him

I kind of wonder exactly what she wanted those pillows for. The mind boggles.

It's hard to do Blackwall and then squeeze in others for sure for story progression reasons, and you can't break up with BW until midway through the game.  So then you're left with 1/2 the game to try everyone else and with some you have to be very careful to save their convos.  You can get flirts in though while with Blackwall, and if you've been flirting with Cullen you do get the option "Start a romance with Cullen", but he shoots you down because he knows you're with someone else.  I hear if you do that, then try for him later after breaking up with BW, he still won't do it.

I thought they were just going into a random room off of the courtyard.  But there is a position or two I can think of where you need extra pillows.

Yeah, I did it myself.  As soon as you're broken up, he's basically ready to go if you've kept up your flirts. And then since it's pretty late in the game, his romance scenes pretty much happen one after the other.

I get a cut scene with him drinking but after that when I try to talk to him he just say "how it going" and I only get the I go to go option. I'm almost done with my playthrought (I have one more main quest to go) and I only go around 5 to 6 cut scene with him.

His romance is hard for sure.  You need to get his approval up, you can do a few things with him in your party like that horse race in The Hinterlands, he approves of that, and do other things that get his approval.  Like in judgements he likes it when you're ruthless.

Eh, maybe on my next play through I romance him. I hate the horse race though. I can run faster on foot thus I never use the mount. But if I do want to romance Cullen again and remain with him at the end (I just like him because of the mage origin and that he remind me of alistair), how many romance or sex can I possible have in a single playthrought and which order and who should I do first. I really wish bioware patch and add the option to demand sex from your romance parner. I want more sexy time with Cullen. It may cause him to lost his job either from the lack of responsibility or exhaustion, but my inquisition is probably turning into a nun with the lack of sex
