That are at all likely/possible:
Scout Harding
A Rivaini Shaman
An Meglomaniac, Blood Magic Using Magister
A Kal-Sharok Dwarf
A City Elf
A Mortalitasi
Not going to happen, but I can dream:
Carver Hawke
Ser Delrin Barris
I want to buy this game.

nah needs an Avvar.
Ooh yes a Rivaini hedge mage would be grand.
Also someone from the Anderfels.
And a dwarf lady, naturally.
Hmm dome sort of nomadic warrior from another contary we havenr seen yet like a Fog warrior.
Didn't see this thread, I'll just copy my response from the other one:
I would enjoy a Tevinter companion who essentially embodies the Tevinter mindset. Pro-slavery, Machiavellian, imperialistic, blood mage, etc. After Inquisition it'd be nice to have a non-altruistic companion.
A female Qunari/Tal-Vashoth, who up to this point have essentially been nonexistent
An Avvar tribesman
Also a dwarf who acts dwarfy
yeah happens no probs.
I would like a female elf romancable companion for males ,
1.preferably a city elf , where you learn about the hardship of the elfs.
2. She would be a fighter type character. because ive had enough of all elves being either rogues or mages
Leiliana as a romanceable companion again.
Dorian back as a magister
Varric romancable for dwarves.
Flemigan (Flemeth/Mythal/Morrigan all in one body.) Not romancable because well, what a mess.
Cullen as a companion, romancable
Anders - older, wiser but still on the run and bent on free mages.
Nathaniel
Sandal as a mage
More qunari period
More dwaves
maybe a large selection of companions, like 3-4 og each race but, they exclude each other so you can only actually recruit six total but there are 20 or more to choose from. Say you get Sandal and Varric, then no other dwarves, get Dorian, no Qunari allowed, etc...
A character a lot like Blackwall, but he is a ranger/archer.

Er, a few problems with your list there.
1) Leliana could be in love with the Warden. The writers stated clearly last year that they aren't going to mess with that. Same applies to Morrigan. Edit: Forgot to mention that she could possibly become Divine. From here on out, I expect her role to be much more off-screen regardless of her status as Divine.
2) Nothing wrong with more Dorian, though the magister thing would be a little odd. Still, nothing that can't be explained in the writing with some care. Moving on. ![]()
3) Varric himself made it very clear that he wasn't available. I've heard that his writer, Mary Kirby, doesn't like writing romances. If you check out her history with the company, you'll notice that her characters almost never have romance arcs. Besides, Bianca is quite real and alive, so Varric's taken. Also, it's time to let the poor man go home. He mentions that he plans on going home after all of this (i.e. the DLCs) is over to help Kirkwall and some of the other city states.
5) The Flemeth personality quilt wouldn't be enough to go on, since some folks choose to drink the Well for themselves.
6) I'm okay with this, though it's unlikely they would make Cullen a romance again for much the same reasons as Morrigan and Leliana.
7) NO. Anders is dead in a lot of player's world states. This isn't because I dislike Anders, it's just an awful idea. Justice could make some sort of appearance though.
8) Nathaniel has much the same problems as Anders, in that he could be dead in some world states.
9) Sandal needs to return, yes. However, making him a mage considering he obviously genetically tends towards dwarf would take some serious reworking in the lore. Unless the writers claim that Cory's magic made certain things screwy. Anything is possible.
10) Sounds good.
11) Sounds awesome.
Dwarf from Kal-Sharok, someone grim and serious to contrast existing dwarf characters (Oghren's comedic relief, Varric's smoothness, Sigrun and Harding's bubbly attitudes). Ideally female, but I won't complain about a dude or anything else.
Tal-Vashoth who is full of burning hatred for the Qun, in order to distinguish themselves from loyal Sten and Bull. Hopefully on the edge of feral madness, like Bull describes.
Nevarran dragon hunter - turned - Reaver.
Darkspawn disciple.
Rivaini spirit healer, who's rocking some crazy native traditions.
Mortilitasi necromancer.
Maevaris, if we can have her. I'd be content with her in a role analogous to the Inquisition advisers.
An asexual romance.
if the tradition of bringing back a companion from the previous DA installment continues, then i'd love dorian to come back.
while i don't think i would romance a dwarf (unless they converted me at our first meeting like dorian did), i think a romancable dwarf would be good for the players who want one. even i think it's long overdue xD just as long as it's not varric....he already has bianca ![]()
as much as i love anders, i wouldn't want him back as a companion. not only did a lot of players kill him (i didn't), but he is widely reviled in thedas for what he did and i think he would be much safer on the run (if alive and preferably with a romanced hawke). a codex entry or ingame reference that mentions how he's doing is enough for me.
i wouldn't mind either sandal or dagna returning.
An asexual romance.
Ah yes, I love platonic romance, especially where the other person isn't attracted to me
I kinda like the idea of a total nerdlinger on magic/history/dragons/everything who isn't actually a mage. Something like Dagna, but not Dagna.
Hope they bring back Dorian ![]()
Maevaris Tilani: a transgender(male to female) magister who is the widow of Varric's cousin Thorold
I was going to say as awesome as she is I couldn't imagine someone that powerful and elegant traipsing through dungeons and swamps...and then I remembered Vivienne ![]()
I'd at least like to see her as mission control.
We definitely need more dwarves, particularly new ones. We seem to be limited to a one-dwarf maximum occupancy per game. Maybe a "kalna" (traditionalist dwarf) and an "ascendent" (reformer dwarf) to have the kind of bantery debates Sera and Solas had in my party about elves...?
I like the gay knight in shining armour idea, though i'd be happy with a return of Dorian. He's turned out to be a surprise fan favourite, and it does seem that one character links the last game/expansion with the next. I'm just happy to have well-written characters representing me in any game ![]()
To everyone who wants an Avvar; I feel your pain, but it doesn't make any sense to have one as a companion if we're headed north. Our next-best bet is one of the scarred tribesmen from the Anderfels wastes.
To everyone who wants a Fog Warrior; we had Fenris, didn't we?

I don't even know where to start with you.

The Avvar could be a mercenary or Tevinter Foedarati. Fenris was not a Fog Warrior, he was a unique Tevinter slave
Agreed and agreed. ![]()

I doubt we'll ever see Dragon Age move beyond Thedas, given that it's The Dragon Age Setting. The whole point of the kossith homeland and everything else beyond the edges of the map is to remain a mystery; it's why they sent the Hero of Ferelden west, so we would forget about them once they vanish off the known continent.
I'd love to finally hear something about the Fex, however. We've been waiting long enough.
