I doubt we'll ever see Dragon Age move beyond Thedas, given that it's The Dragon Age Setting. The whole point of the kossith homeland and everything else beyond the edges of the map is to remain a mystery; it's why they sent the Hero of Ferelden west, so we would forget about them once they vanish off the known continent.
I'd love to finally hear something about the Fex, however. We've been waiting long enough.
Probably you're right. It is the mystery that makes what's unknown interesting rather than being disappointed if being just spoiled all of it.
If they ever do introduce a Marco Polo like character who only just teases at what's beyond, that'd be my cup of tea.
1. Dorian
2. Dorian
3. Dorian
The end.
A fex (I wanna see what they loook like)
An elf blooded human who was raised in an alianage (Maybe Feynriel? Though he's got too many endings to pull it off probably)

Former Tevinter Slave - Assassin Specialization
Warriors

Avvar Warrior - Spirit Warrior SpecializAtion

Grey Warden Mage - knight Enchanter
...Can there be elf altusi? I thought you had to be descended from the ancient tevinter magisters to be an altus, and weren't they all human?
- Gay KISP. Hopefully an Orlesian Chevalier. DA:I's companions were rather lacking in Orlesians even though more than half the game happens in Orlais. Stroud's VA pls.
- Abelas, but since he can be killed... maybe just a generic ancient elf? I think BW is aiming for a story with the elven gods, so it makes sense for some perspective
- Female dwarf

Varania led Danarius to Leto/Fenris on the promise that he'd make her his apprentice possibly ending with her as a Magister. If it was entirely impossible for an elf to reach such heights, I don't think she'd have gone along with the plan.

It's not possible to be an elf Altus for the reasons you mentioned. I have no doubts that some, if not many Tevinter houses have an elven blood in their veins, but it's so convenient that elf-blooded child in DA universe always takes after non-elven parent.
In DAO we had a non-slave Tevinter Elf Mage(in the alienage enslaving the elves) so I assume there are other ways than birth to reach that level
Mage =/= Magister =/= Altus, just as Merchant =/= Nobility =/= Royalty.

Altus are specifically those thought to be descended from the old magisters. That elf was probably a laetan, a mage who comes from something other than the big Tevinter mage families. (You can still be one of these and someday become a magister or even archon, it's just far less likely.)

He could make her a magister maybe but it's not the same as an altus. I don't think there's a large enough amount of elven magisters for it to be too likely we can run into an elf mage born into power and position like an altus. They'd probably have had to crawl their way up there.
I want Isabela
, Hawke as companion (again), and............
Talis (yeah, I went there) cause I really liked her character and background.
Oh, and maybe a dlc mission with Merrill and Velanna to find out what happened to Solas.

Yeah, you're right. You're not required to be an Atus to be a Magister, but the Altus are always certain families.
i always like to have at least one odd companion...cole was supposed to be that i guess but hes just sooo damn boring
something like a "nice" demon that possesses a child might be interesting...
I think that Anders was about as close to an abomination companion as I'd care for.
A dwarf Spirit Warrior. Sandal promised that the magic would come back, and Dagna seems well on the path.
I really hope that dwarves can never do magic. Their lyrium resistance and inability to dream is kind of what makes them fascinating.
People have mentioned most of the stuff I want already - Scout Harding! A gay KISA! Female Tal-Vashoth who hates the Qun! ROMANCEABLE DWARVES!
I'd very much like a dwarf from underground (Orzammar or Kal-Sharok) who doesn't decide that the surface is the best place ever the moment they get there. Nothing against Oghren, Sigrun or Varric but I played my noble dwarf Warden as missing her home terribly in spite of everything, and I'd love to see a companion with a similar attitude.
Gay hurlock

Agreed. I've been hoping for more dwarf lore for quite a bit. ![]()
I'd love to have a slightly older, significantly more badass and battle hardened version of Krem, potentially with him even leading his own band of mercenaries (the Kremson Knights, anyone?). That and maybe a fully realized Scout Harding, and/or Sigrun. Really we just need more dwarves... Dwarves just kinda make everything better.
Oh, and the Messanger from Awakening... Not sure how it could be done, since he *does* technically spread the Blight, but even so, a fully cloaked sentient Darkspawn with a heart of gold is just too cool to only appear briefly in an expansion.

Alright but he has to learn how to actually SIT in a chair. I refuse to have dinner with a companion that stands the whole time.
