Setting - 2/3 Tevinter, 1/3 Antiva
Following tradition, PC would be from Orlais (First game was Ferelden, second game was in Free Marches but hero from Ferelden, third game is Orlais, hero from Free Marches), would be a bard. His/her bardmaster is either Celene or Gaspard, to look at some troubles in the area, since it threatens Orlesian trade and could involve the Qunari. Prestige class would be a variant of bardic training based on class (Warrior can draw opponents and buff, mages have flashy moves, thieves strike and can reset aggro). Can be human, elf, or dwarf, any class, male or female. (For references sake, I will refer to this character as "The Bard")
NPC
Antivan Crow - Female Elven Archer - Granted in game by a contact who thinks The Bard could use some extra help. Professional and straight-laced, believes in getting the duty done. Not above disguising deaths as accidents, but only clean kills with as little pain as possible. Personal quest involves taking contracts on targets, only to realize she's being played by another, getting her to kill rival Crow cells. Romaceable by all races and genders, but elves have it easy, followed by humans, followed by dwarves, and males have it easier than females.
Magister and Revered Father - Male Human Mage - First character met, Celene/Gaspard's contact in Tevinter. Loves his homeland and the Imperial Chantry (to the point where Andrastrianism annoys him, and he only uses the Imperial version of blood magic: Willing sacrifices or self only), hates qunari. Extremely practical, and brutal when the situation calls for it, but pleasant when the situation calls for that. Believes in restoring Tevinter through trade and infrastructure. Personal quest involves building power base, can be unhardened and like people more. Romanceable by females of all races, but easier with any human, slightly easier with elven mage.
Rivani Seer Apprentice - Female Human Mage - Being trained in Tevinter before returning to Rivain to become a seer. Unsure of whether or not to proceed since it involves becoming an abomination. Personal quest is completing her trial. While she chooses to refuse to be an abomination, she could still go through the training of a seer. Also meet a spirit of Wisdom, which is what Seers use to become what they are. Romanceable by mages only, either male or female, human or elven.
Dalish Hunter - Male Elven Warrior - Skilled Hunter of a clan that roams the area around Tevinter. Dislikes Shems greatly, and is perfectly okay killing them if he can disguise it. Personal quest involves researching the lost lore of his people, discovering an old temple to Syalise, and his sister, the First of the clan, who falls in love with an Antivan Merchant Prince. They are attacked by city elves. Can be convinced to either tone down his racism, or turn into a full misanthrope. Romanceable by male and female elves, and, with difficulty, male and female dwarves.
Recurring character - Charade Amell - Female Human Rogue - Red Jenny operative looking to help the downtrodden. A mark in Markham drove her to Antiva, where she works with the Bard to help others. Personal quest involves reconnecting with Hawke (and, if alive, Bethany or Carver) and some Red Jenny missions that actually do good for slaves and the downtrodden. Romanceable by males of any race.
Dwarven Exile - Male Human Warrior - Skilled member of the Warrior Caste in Orzammar who disobeyed orders, saving many soldiers over the life of one pompous noble. Depressed for his life on the surface, he spends much of his time working in Tevinter, and has quarters at a dwarven embassy in Minrathous. Proud of his heritage, desperately wants to return to Orzammar, and feels the only way is to become a Paragon. Personal quest involves plundering dwarven ruins and hunting dangerous monsters. Personal quest can be to either support him on his mission, or convince him to learn to love life on the surface. Romanceable by female dwarves. If personal quest causes him to like the surface, he can romance female humans or elves. If personal quest causes him to be a Paragon, romanceable by male dwarves.
