The Architect or a darkspawn that is better than him (which I can't think of any)

A darkspawn would never work unless they can somehow handwave away the fact that it would infect everyone else with the taint.
I'm sure Bioware could retcon it, it wouldn't be their first, but inflicting the blight has always been a major part of darkspawn life. Even the lone ranger Messenger in DAA did more harm than good going around and infecting innocents when he tried to help.

People like you are ridiculous.
People like you said a Geth could never be a companion because a single Geth soldier didn't have enough Geth minds to make it sentient. Then what does BioWare do? The created Legion, a single Geth soldier with above average number of minds.
People like you said that there would NEVER be a fade spirit as a companion unless they were just possessing someone like Justice did because there was no other way for them to exist outside the Fade. Then what does BioWare do? They created Cole, a fade spirit who exists outside the fade without possessing anything.
So why is it so hard for you to accept a Darkspawn companion? The Architect was already doing research on the Blight, couldn't one of his disciples have continued his work and research and found some way to control the taint within himself so he doesn't infect those around him? It's really not hard to come up with a believable reason... that is, unless you're so limited in imagination that you have no business playing a fantasy game.

The Architect's solution was literally to make every human a grey warden, potentially killing like half of them, to make them immune to the taint.
Unless they make a darkspawn that somehow does not spread the taint it wouldn't work. Unless it didn't have the taint, which wouldn't make it darkspawn.
In any case, I don't really care for dark spawn (or wardens) that much. So I never really thought of the logistics of making a darkspawn companion. I find virtually everything else in Thedas a lot more interesting.

I would like to see a full character roster catering to celibacy. Make it happen, BioWare.

Honestly, I'd like to see Samson as a future companion. I mean, no matter what choice you make regarding his judgement, he doesn't die, and, based on what little you get to see of him, there's clearly some small shred of humanity left in him with the potential for redemption. He seems like someone who sincerely wants to do right, but has just been too weak to make a go of it.
I'd also love to see Dagna or Lace Harding as (romanceable) companions.
A romanceable female Tal-Vashoth rogue or mage would also rock, as would a Mortalitasi and/or a Rivaini hedge-witch.

I'd like to see:
Krem
Connor
A female qunari
Kieran (depending how much longer after DAI it takes place)
Seneschal Bran (okay not as a companion, but his negativity and sarcasm cracked me up)
And as a side note just a lot more cameos from DAII companions

Scout Harding
Charade Amell
Shy/withdrawn m/m LI (Mage or Warrior)
Maevaris
Female Qunari
a Fex
a Werewolf
talking darkspawn.
Mind you not all of these or it'd be a traveling freakshow but some of them.

Now,I think the next game is going to be set in Tevinter and Par Vollen. If it is,then here are my suggestions.
COMPANIONS
Bianca,so they can continue the Varric storyline without actually having Varric as a party member.
Sutherland,because he is awesome
Maevaris (maybe have the option to make her Archon)
OTHER
Fenris should have more than a cameo if he survived.
Krem might have a secondary quest involving freeing his father,if he survived the events of Inquisition
Dorian should appear as a possible candidate to the Imperial throne.
Isabela should return, and have an important role in the Qunari plot.
Feynriel should return, maybe as the guy who enchants our weapons...but I truly don't know if that would work,as he could end up possessed in DA2.
Javaris could have a secondary quest in which he manages to create something similar to the Gaatlok if he survived DA2.
The Iron Bull should return, with two different cameos depending on decisions from DAI.
The previous Sten of the Beresaad should,of course, return as the new Arishok. The disgraced Arishok could also make an appearance if he survived DA2.
These are all speculation. I'm sorry if any of these sounded arrogant or any other way. ![]()

Hmm, if I was lord dictator over bioware's writing team for the next game, assuming it's set in Tevinter:
Warriors:
Huge, qunari sized human male anderfels knight, comes wielding a two handed weapon of course. I can imagine an exalted march coming into tevinter post corypheus shenanigans and it'd be cool to see a religious crusader style knight/zealot in massive armor bedecked with trophies (like the wyvern heads or whatnot depending on the level of the armor). Gay romance option
Female human tevinter slave gladiatrix. S&S warrior. She starts of pro slavery/tevinter, having not known any other way of life and you can either free her and change her opinion or reinforce her view on the world. Bi romance option
Male Dalish Elf. starts with a spear (i think spears can be incorporated by setting their damage at a midpoint between S&S and two handed and incorporating debuffs into it's weapon tree. it makes sense in my mind that the dalish archers would need some kind of screening force to protect them and spears have traditionally fit that role). Militant, feral, nationalistic, pro dalish elf. straight romance option
Rogues
Male human tevinter spy, dual daggers. Dry sense of humor, dedicated to protecting tevinter's citizens and civilians, has a very dim view of magisters, considers them ridiculous, selfish meddling mystics. Perhaps he can be a rogue/mage type character, capable of using magic but trained not as proper mage but to use magic to enhance his abilities as an assassin. Straight romance option
Fredric the draconologist. archer. Because learning more about dragons is cool. Would be great if he were a ranger type character with a dragonling pet you can summon in combat.
Bianca. She's fascinating and she and varric deserve their happy ending. single one handed weapon (mechanically works as a mitigation tank, like the sith inquisitor's darkness tree in swtor) specialisation involves various bombs and grenades.
Mages
Female Elf magister. Bloodmage. Pro tevinter with a utilitarian outlook towards blood magic. perhaps born in an alienage in orlais, when she manifested magical abilities her parents took her and fled to tevinter rather than hand her to the templars, she was taken in and trained by a magister, hence her allegiance to tevinter and hatred of the south which nearly destroyed her family (or did, perhaps the templars killed a parent of hers or something). Straight romance option
Tal vashoth sarabaas. Escaped from the qun, hates the qun, discovering the rest of the world. Would be lovely to be able to use that ridiculously overpowered gravity ball attack mages use in DA2. bi romance option
Grey warden mage. Survivor of the battle of adamant, guilt stricken, suffering from ptsd, looking for redemption. mainly defensive specialisation plus bonus damage to darkspawn.
That's my two cents. Apologies for the atrocious grammar.

Michal de Chevin. Because we have a qota to fill and I like him. Straight romance option.
Female Tal-vashoth from Seheron. Bi romance option.
Male non-mage, non-slave Tevinter patriot, preferebly an elf. Bi romance option.
Exiled dwarven traditionalist.
Mages:
Maevaris Tilani. Pretty sure Gaider (or someone) mentioned wanting to do more with her, and we don't have that many sympathetic magisters established.
Straight romance option.
Recently rescued/escaped/captured Sarabaas.
Female Dalish elf, one of those who got exiled due to mage overpopulation. An explorer, adventurer and mercenary. Bi romance option.
Mage Isolationist Circle Mage. Sort of like Jolee Bindo.
Rogues:
Male Fog Warrior. Gay romance option.
Female Dwarf from Kal-Sharok. Serious and pragmatic. Gay romance option.
Female human Ben-Hasrath agent.
Male scholar from Orlais/Nevarra/Free Marsches. Bi romance option.

I like the idea of perhaps being recruited into an adventuring company formed by sutherland, on behalf of the inquisition so you could have Scout Harding as a companion, and perhaps meet some of the companions from DA I, they would possibly be investigating something on behalf of the inquistion, like solas or something..
If you went north you may interact a little with Isabella since she could have travelled anywhere in her pirate ship.
As for companions well scout harding.
and new ones, no need to recycle the old ones back, let them have their lives, i mean you may run into them in the course of a quest, and maybe be a temporary ally but not a full blown companion.

Hey, here's a random one, Ser Jory's child, the one he says is on the way in Redcliffe. Jump ahead a 7-10 years from now, and they'd be old enough to do some adventuring.
