Holy crap, good catch!
Not sure I haven't played DA2 in such a long time.
It's a very similar sword, but not the same one. Samson drops it if you fight him.
nope its a red templar thing... those guys have tons of the stuff.
Well... ****.
I thought people would already discussing about this subject this since trailer came out, the Inquisitor with Meredith's sword.
The description of the sword lampshades the notion that it's Meredith's sword that has "somehow" been reforged.
See, this adds weight to the curbstomp that Haven suffers. Attacked by an army of red lyrium enhanced Templars led by a man with Meredith's reforged sword standing side by side with an ancient darkspawn Magister who also has a pet archdemon. It's all the worst things from the previous two games brought together to smash you.
One wonders how BioWare plans to top it in the future. A double blight with two active archdemons at once, one in Tevinter and one in Seheron? Think of the Ogres!

Well that would solve the Tevinter problem. Just let the darkspawn have their way with the Tevinters and then when their empire is nothing but a big polluted mess we'll sweep and clean up what's left and never have to worry about evil slave owners ever again.

And so do we.
Some special DLC lets you use red lyrim weapons. You can throw red lyrim into your weapons all willy nilly whenever you want. Varric, knowing first hand the dangers of a small red lyrim idol, tasks you with getting close to and destroying 12 ruck-sized chunks of the stuff. You're frequently just wandering around areas full of red lyrium and I don't think it's brought up once.

So...Basically rehashing the Batarian problem. ![]()

So when will we be throwing a big rock at the Not!Mass Relay?
So...instead of throwing a big asteroid at the relay, we aim the trebuchet at the biggest lyrium stockpile in Tevinter? I like it!
Oh!, Oh, oh! Except the payload has to be on fire!!
