I personally didn't enjoy VtMB as much as others, but I enjoyed how action oriented the gameplay could be. I also really liked the dynamic between the masquerade violations and redemptions.

Was just playing XIII-2 earlier, and will be later on (I took tomorrow off, w00t!) actually.
That's not what's stopping me from getting VtM:B though. I just can't get past the screenshots in Steam, thay all look so dumb.
I need at least five people to reassure me that it's worth it, that the whole game is not hookers in police fetish gear in bad lighting

I don't want to crap up the 'EA is dumb for not buying Bloodlines and System Shock 2 thread' but if I have to image dump your deviancy, I will.
Also, Bloodlines is pretty good. Just run the unofficial patch and you're good to go. It's somewhere in-between Deus Ex and Deux Ex: HR gameplay wise, but with a stronger RPG character system, set in an urban fantasy universe (World of Darkness).
