I haven't watched them. I don't have much bandwith. I was planning to watch them eventually, but now I guess I won't.

And I WILL get the game. it goes on sale pretty frequently (I've had my eye on it for a while).

I think I can deal. I just played FF VII for the first time some months ago, and VIII too. Five of the 25 icons on my desktop are Myst games. Just played KotOR last year I think.

I've become a bit of a graphics ho in the last few months, but I can still play old games that had decent graphics for the time.

Stahp! I knew I would like Unity, and I did. I had hardly any graphical issues at all (aside from terrible FPS, and that's just optimization).

 

The whole issue with Bloodlines (thanks for that, wasn't sure how to shorten it) is that I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it. I'm very picky about the games I buy.

The Nameless One is a set protagonist, but the art style isn't going to be the same kind of fantastical and is a far more open game. Guess it doesn't count. :/

Screw it, I'll just make a list of 2D JRPG gems to look out for or peek at on YouTube. Cuz reasons.

 

 

If you play pretty much any of those games I'll bet it's fun.

 

Anyway there really aren't very many JRPGs on Steam let alone 2D ones... most of them are on previous generation consoles or handhelds/Mobile. I think Breath of Fire 4 is on PC though and that's a pretty good series.. it's like isometric 2D.. I think.

 

If I could pick any 2D JRPG-ish game that's recent though I'd probably pick Odin Sphere which is PS2.

 

Edit: Wait a minute Mother 4? Thought there were only 3..

Cuz you can't put them all in a Games directory on your desktop.

I have Music, Books and 2014 Internet gems folders on my desktop too. And shortcuts of useful programs.

I just have them out because they're all the main games I've gotten recently that I want to get finished up.

I recently finished the main campaign to Tropico 4, but there's a whole modern campaign and a bunch of individual scenarios (including one that says "you" have amnesia on a strange island, and mentions Cthulhu) so I can't remove it just yet. Thinking about playing all the short ones like the Myst games first, but I'm having trouble motivating myself. Having so much trouble, in fact, that right now I'm creating instead of playing.
