Flesh out what kind of companion you'd like to see. Give a brief description of appearance and personality. I'll start:

1 - Barbarian woman, likely Chasind or Avvar. She's rough with her manners and mannerisms. Likely the warrior woman, 2 handed weapons preferred. Maybe she could introduce a new specialization of a lightly armored warrior. I'm thinking tribal feathers, furs, etc... Kinda like an Amazon warrior princess. I'd be nice if she was a darker charcter who cares mainly for destruction, raiding, and proving her strength in battle.

2 - A hot-headed teenager. Inspired by Mission Voa from KotOR. Probably a rogue city elf with a sad past. Specializes in traps, throwing daggers, and running from combat. Non- romanceable for obvious reasons. She'd kinda fall into the either you love her like a daughter/kid sister or you can't stand her.

Seriously, though?  I'd like to see a Fog Warrior some time.

I would enjoy a Tevinter companion who essentially embodies the Tevinter mindset. Pro-slavery, Machiavellian, imperialistic, blood mage, etc. After Inquisition it'd be nice to have a non-altruistic companion. 

 

A female Qunari/Tal-Vashoth, who up to this point have essentially been nonexistent

 

An Avvar tribesman 

 

Also a dwarf who acts dwarfy

I'd like a city elf companion.  If DA4 will be in Tevinter then maybe an escaped slave?

 

Also, maybe we can get a demon for a companion.  Probably not, but it would be cool especially if we're in Tevinter.

I'd like another Qunari in the veins of Sten, because he was so damn intimidating and alien in many ways.

 

Side note here, I love Iron Bull, he's awesome. But I just want to see a "real" Qunari, the ones we seemingly cannot understand fully no matter how hard we try to cut it.

 

Could be male or female... actually would be interesting to see a "female version" of a Sten-like Qunari, yeah, would like that. Also, just like Sten at Haven back in Origins, would like to see a Qunari who could potentially turn on you because - to him/her - what you're doing right now and right here doesn't make sense anymore, so he/she goes bunkers on you. But then again that would have been amazing from anyone in Inquisition... but alas, heh.

Seconding the request for a lawful-evil Tevinter companion. Extra bonus points for her being female. 90% of the Tevinters we've met are men.

Honestly, I'm no match against Bioware when it comes to making companions. Inqusition had one of the best, arguably THE best, companion line-ups to date. What companions would I like to see? Whoever Bioware comes up with next!

OMG yes. I'd love to see a lawful evil female Tevinter magister as a companion. That would be amazing. 

 

Seconding Rivaini seer as well. We need to see more Rivainis and Nevarrans as well.

I'd like to see a Gray Warden companion that's actually a Warden.  Perhaps a dwarf companion from Kal Sharok if it's heavily included in the expansion.  (At least as much as Orzammar/Deep Roads was in DAO.)  If it's going to be about a Qunari war then I'd like to see a Fog Warrior (and the ability to oppose the Qunari).  If they revamp necromancy then a Mortalitasi companion would be fun.  If there's other Witches of the Wild out there still then seeing another one of Flemeth's "daughters" would be interesting, especially if they elaborate on elven lore and her part in it as Mythal.
